if your on a budget you could buy a great big fu*k off 30mm spanner and when you need a 12mm spanner pack 10 or so 5 cent pieces on the side of the nut.....the larger spanner you need the less 5 cent pieces ...... also these bad boys are handy if your trying to fish arse it
-
units of tightening measure Nm=Newton meters FTlbs=Foot pounds SPPM=Sphincter pulpertations per minute......the later could also be called "taking 100 or 200(depends on the SPPM your trying to acheive) high speed shutter pictures of the concrete under your arse"
-
and when your tightening it make sure you do it up FT(fu*king tight.....AKA one thread back from snapping)
-
or an AFS (Any Fu*king Size.....shifter)
-
-
and use a 6 point socket to undo tight nuts next time....less chances of rounding them as they grab the sides/corners more evenly(i didnt go to uni/do any type of degree/use pythagoras theory or newtons law of physics to work this out )

a turbo timer is used for cooling down the core of the turbo charger so when you switch the car off,the oil inside has less chance of coking up and blocking the bearing feeds.....

motorcycles have extra injectors behind the velocity stacks.....a good friend of mine makes tune box's for them and on a 600cc has seen huge gains in power from totally phasing out the front injectors at high rpm and cranking open the rear ones instead.....motorcycle manufactures have always been at the fore front of extracting huge amounts of power by innovative technology

standard head gasket is $60
so which workshop is trying to rip you off $4440 to remove a head which takes a couple of hours?
i dont think i will be the only one to say this but.......no way!!!!

ok so finally got a chance to strip the old boy down with the help of roy......very happy with what i found so far.....looks like the front end has never been off before....i must admit i expected quite a bit of cancer especially under the tops of the front guards on the upper rail and in the hinge pillar but looks like i got lucky....the guards themselves are excellent for a 35 year old car....small rust but a pretty easy fix up really some at the bottom of the sill behind the guards on the body, usually the bottom of the screens cop a hiding but this ones quite minimal, also i think the car has been parked nose up on a rise si some water has been sitting in the vent plenum behind the dash so some rust there.....the car is as bare as the day it was born ready to go to restoblast for bead blasting inside outside and underneath.....the nose cone is also in great condition....im very happy,i couldnt have found a more original/better car for this project and its quite amazing considering how nasty the japanese weather is.....most of the cars here in australia are far far worse....work permitting i will be hitting this quite hard after its back from being shot with plastic bead....lets see how many more holes the bead blasting finds....whoop de doo

if your after cylinder head work you could use stewart carrick racing....but he is over keilor way....very good with rb stuff
-
actually they belong on your 32
-
id say vic as only one rwc needed then thats it....unless you get pinged for leaking oil and get a defect
-
heres the car sort of finished i didnt have the rear garnish and the tail lights...he has them....so i couldnt drive it over so jack from citywide is towing it there today.....i powered it up and down the street and man does it go fast!!!!!!i got these plates a while ago for mine but i think i will give them to him....he can mount them where he likes....we just cable tied them on the grille......these plates are ment to be viewed from the car infront via the rear view mirror
i cant get the pearl to show up nice in pics but wow it looks great!!!!!!

Just noticed how much the roofline on these looks the same as a mustang but the trailing edge of the window is metal on the ford instead of glass like the mazda.
Thats one great looking Mazda
i must agree.....i almost bought one instead of the rx3.....the rx4 has an agro looking front....almost finished assembling the mazdabator today....

by the way this is just the ground coat for the Tbird....i will be doing the hang on panels very soon....then all 7 meters of it will be speed filed and blocked down.....im glad im not doing it!!I will then be painting the true colour which is a light mettalic blue, rocketing some clear over it then be blocking it down and flow coating it

ok.....the guy on the right is my mate johnny from restoblast,he blasted the car inside/outside and underneath. It was put on a rottisere, made new floor pans and hand beat the patterns in them.He also remade the left inner skirt and various other parts for the car......it had quite a big whack in the front at some stage so he also reset the chassis rails on a car-o-liner......the car has been metal filed and he has done a fantastic job...very gifted tradesman indeed
this is the underbody all resealed and textured
