just back from car show at Parklands on Gold Coast. Did not see a single Stagea Lots of Skies Sils & 180's and one Cifero. Very disappointing!!!!!!!!! When are we going to exhibit? Or do we keep it to ourselves?

what oxford1327 said interests me, ie the chemicals sprayed on to decontaminate the car. As mentioned in "electronic rust prevention" the undersides of my S1 ar veiled in a film of rust (corrosion). Especially the bits that were cad plated.Apart from having a flat battery yesterday this rust is the only thing that isses me off. Its going to cost $640 at Endrust to get it fixed.

Dont know how or whybut I got stuck with a flat battery. Jump started and did not miss a start again today.Drove 200k so presume altenator is ok. On some vehicles you have to disconnect the battery terminals before connecting a charger. Is this necessaryon a Stagea?

The green one is the same looking as mine. I thought it was, because the garage wall and tiltadoor are the same. My pavings are different. Eerie when i first saw pic. cheers

should have read your message befor i PM is it 2/4 door?elec or manual? there are six pages in all. to get them you will need to go to the fish shop in Pictona get a dozen battered scollops for moi. actually send address and they are yours. also i have an MR30 TI Hatch , but now drive a Stagea.

My S1 has an electric tailgate locker. Has yours? If I knew how to send a pic (must ask my 13yo) on my rear bumper, on the horizontal section is an inlay "STAGEA". Not seen it on any of the other pics of for sale units.lol. I am beginning to really LOVE my Stagea.

thats cheap. I started this because im thinking about a nice S2, Neo ,Tiptronic All up with a few extras it will cost 20 grand! Would like to hear from other nz owners re costs when importing.

Look up the Prestige Motorsport site and click on "cost calculator" The $616 I paid was for 6 months rego plus stamp duty but i dont have a breakdown of costs.

be careful just quoting FOB price. If Rego place susses you you will have to pay top dollar. better to go a bit higher to avoid repercussions

First time i saw a prince skyline GT, was at an Orran Park or Amaroonight meet in about 64 or 65. OMG it was the most beautiful car I had ever seen.Most beautifulcar I have NEVER owned. Nearly got one in about 75 but it had too much rust. It was at Ted Lees on Parramatta Rd. Saw them in the press on and off. Finally got my MR30 TI Hatch in july 84. I still have her. 600K. Had the odd oil change. Mine was i think one of the first Nissan badged 30s. It came std with 15" alloys, OD and a lockup torque converter. Had a .686 od and an R180 diff. Its CD value was very low, about the same as a Porche. It was not quick but very fast. Nissans are great. Stageas the greatest.

i reckon it would be cheaper to go thru j spec or prestige. that way yoy get a car that goes! and is registerable.www.j-spec.com .au. goto mailing list ,type in skyline and search. you will see all sorts in your price range.

alex, u need to measure the tyre diameter, especially if u have non factory. idont think my speedo is accurate, thats y iwanted the ratios. Pm ur diameter and ill work it out
