  1. Hey mate kinda keen to have a look, can I get a phone number?
  2. This cant work as a monitor and display a reversing camera can it? If it will Ill take it. Edit - Seems according to the pioneer website it can if you buy the pioneer camera... do you have the double DIN mounting so it can be mounted in-dash?
  3. Right. Selling my S1 S14 SILVIA track car. Want to get in front on my mortgage and do some stuff around the house, and get out of the car scene for a while. Boguht it from Japanese Motorsport, who bought it in under the Race/tally scheme. IT CANNOT BE REGISTERED! EVER! Has a ton of good jap spec gear, and just spent a fortune getting a lot of things fixed, it simply needs an alignment, which is being done friday, and she's ready to go. Simply needs a remap and the boost wound up and it'll have a solid 200 at the wheels. THE BAD - As I said, it needs an alignment, but im taking care of that on friday. The paint is in good condition, there's a few small dents and a repair on the roof is starting to crack a little, but it's very neat for a track car. I want $10,000 for it, come take it away, ready to slide. For a bit more I have an APEXi RC6 External gate turbo kit with trust gate, and a few other pieces laying around. PICS! More pics on request. Will try to take some tomorrow arvo. PM Me here on phone Ben on 0430 395 819.
  4. True, Ikeya arms are as tough as nails. Far surpass the factory gear. I have standard traction arms in the S14 and also in the 31. (Have 33 GTS-T cradle going in) As for adjusting the roll centre.... it's not a case of something someone can do, the arms themselve have a roll centre adjuster built into them, which brings the roll centre back up to near where is should be. I dont have them in the S14, probably wont get them. My roll centres are through the earths core, yet it seems to drift fine. Nothing internally combusts or the earth stops turning LOL. I may put them in the front at some stage as my LCA's look like they're at a 45 deg. upward angle lol...... What you said is more correct talking about traction rods.... not too many people have the knowledge to set them correctly. I may get some later on, but a very low priority on my list of things to do.
  5. Rear bumpsteer would be controlled by adjusting the roll centre more than anything. Traction rods allow adjustment to how much toe is given to the rear wheel under suspension compression.... ie transition after a clutch kick etc. Only other reason is they replace the rubber bushes with rose jointed/spherical joints. Just curious as traction rods would usually be the last thing to do in a long list of things... Rear camber arms, HICAS removal or rear toe arms if non HICAS, diff mounts/cradle bushes or locking collars/sway bars etc.
  6. And from all accounts he charges through the ass for f**k all work. Apparently his dad @ The workshop is the man to see. Cant remember what the name of the company was though.... Ill send him an SMS and find out. As for the traction arms.... jack car up on stands, unbolt, remove arm, adjust new arm to same length of factory arm, replace in reverse order, get wheel alignment. That's not hard at all, Today Ive installed my HICAS lock bar, Rear camber arms, alloy cradle locking collars, solid diff mounts, Kazama tension rods, steering rack spacers and a solid steering bush. Most of the shit goes back in the same way the factory shit came out. Curious as to why you bought traction arms though?
  7. Ill take the Wider drivers seat if you want to split them, Im in SA too. Id buy both but I only need the one.
  8. Needs 18's... and an inch more lowerness ness...... It'll do. Not too shabby for a $7K track whore.
  9. That's cool as f**k. I was either going to do either leopard print or Luis Vuitton Door trims/shifter boot/cage padding/cam covers.... but thats awesome. Got better things to spend $350 bucks on ATM though... Like camber arms... I played around with my Coilovers tonight.... I cant go any lower without smashing the kit to pieces on ripple strips... Just how I like it. 25mm spacers and rear camber arms by this weekend.
  10. Meh... CBF'd. Id rather drink beers. Those stickers are a royal pain in the ass to get off.
  11. Hahaha.... what's left of it. Have a new one now.... all good.
  12. im not going to talk about my ride height......
  13. Not to mention the cost. I looked into getting bags for my F250 a week or so ago.... and I was up for over $5K just for the kit, and then another $2K-$3K if I wanted it fitted. And this was at a few places in adelaide and interstate..... And as ryan said.... if you get them, pack your tacklebox.
  14. Dont sound like no tractor though...... not a field in sight. Shopping list has now been removed..... now for the rest of the de-ricing.
  15. Will any of the mobile guys do 5% Privacy tint? The places Ive rung wont touch it cause it's not "street legal" Cant see that mattering on a track car Flick, can I have the number of your brother? Will he be able to do it? if not, anyone recommend someone who will?
  16. Nom nom nom.... f**k I miss seeing that out the front of work every day.... Also try adelaide tyrepower, they can supply work/rays/SSR/enkei and other jap brands..... Just beware with the Yen ATM you'll be taking an ass raping to buy new. Try J-Imports on this site too, he has a lot of 2nd hand stuff.
  17. Bought some more stuff from Sherwin. Once again, excellent service, arrived a couple of days after paying, not a hassle. Thanks again sherwin.

  18. Im still taking it mate, just need to have from free time to come round and grab it.
  19. CBF factor is through the f**king roof atm. And the weather is shithouse
  20. Cheers browny, give you a ring after the weekend when I can come pick it up.
  21. Browny, Ill take the cradle, will give you a call or try and catch you on MSN. Ben.
