Ryan! You coming round? Kthnxbi./
-
I know it's a 25...... I assumed the question was directed at a RB20 owner.....
-
Ryan... the soloution for chris's car is simple..... Nitrous. And Lots of it. I am also intending running 1.1 - 1.2 bar with stock head gasket.... not pushing the same power as you though Simon.
-
Ball bearing..... 5 fifths of f**k all really. Plain journal bearing.... a small amount is acceptable in my eyes... Got a bit? Where's the play? side to side or lengthways through the turbo? (comp cover to exh. housing) Hopefully have my new turbo on in a week or two mate. We'll chuck that 25 turbo on ASAP if you think it's a problem.
-
when DONT you yell......
-
they were a day late.... I flew back in friday night. BTW, Im with Bigpoond, havn't had a problem with SAU all weekend.
-
yeah.... I guess you can call it that.... reckons the GT2860 in the 25 housings is a great little unit, tops out about 220odd on a 20DET. Keen on using the td06, but a bit apprehensive about it's lag tendencies...... and because its a rare model, no-one seems to really know what it's capable of... General consensus seems to be full boost around 3500-3700, (depending on who I speak to) max out about 220-230kw's....... capable of 250 - 260 on a 25DET Been said it's a little laggy, but she's pulling like a freight train @4K or so. If I dont get any interest Ill chuck it on and see what she's like...... maybe Ill invest in some cam gears and see if I can bring it on a bit quicker/harder.....
-
yeah.... But Bill was talking about using the RB25 front cover too, so for all the world it looks like an OEM nissan turbo. Cant really justify spending it when I have the TD06 sitting here. Unless someone wants to buy it LOL
-
Really? Well go talk to Wheelworx about that. They'll show you their RWD R32 GTR Drift Car using a RB20 Sump....... EDIT: It has a modded oil pickup LOL........ but it bolts right up. Maybe get a RB20 Sump and mod the pickup to suit?
-
My TD06 is the internal gated version... and comes with a alloy bracket which you bolt the stock heatshield to...... so certainly can look like a stocker. theres no massive trust logo's or anything on the front cover etc.... trade ya for the apexi turbo......... I spoke to Bill Keen before I left for perth about making me a custom turbo using my RB25 turbo housings and machining in a GT2860 or GT2871, and he wanted $1750 I think....... Did you get your retune ryan? so you cracked 250 then? Awesometown.
-
Would it be like a Rb26..... where you can put a RB20DET sump on it?
-
If someone wants 250kw's and killer response on a 25, I have a Trust TD06 17c 8cm kit for sale..... Looking at getting a HKS2530 kit Ive found..... Have also seen that the GT2871 is an awesome turbo on a RB25..... Ryan's 33 is making great power for the little boost is's running and stupid response.....

Pretty much LOL Went to Northbridge on thursday night, ended up getting back at 5:30 yesterday morning LOL, didnt get to bed until like 11:30 last night, so Id been awake from 5am thursday morning until then. By christ those boys can drink. Drank more in the last week than I have in the last 6 months ROFL./ Im f**ked LOL/. Was soooo pissed off though...... they dont have FUIC, nor do they have coopers pale. the main 2 reasons I dont want to go back
-
have fun in perth. I got back from there last night.... and f**king hated it. It's a freaken shithole. Be great if you owned a VT commo done up as a hsv with stockies on the back LOL.... Just a bigger version of elizabeth.

Ok... still for sale. Have now found out that this was incorrectly sold to me as a TD06 20G 8cm. It is a TD06 17C 8cm...... rated @ 380 PS which equates to about 225-230 RWKW's.... (in a perfect world mind you) Been said a lot though that Trust underrate their turbos though, so maybe 240 - 250rwkw's I have no idea what this would be like on a 20, but Id say too small on a 25. I cant find much info on them, and i cant find anyone who's using/used one.... Id also say that this would have less lag that a 20G, maybe some competition for a HKS2530?
-
Love to know where you're getting them from..... They've been discontinued for 6 months or so now...... Ive looked everywhere for them.... unl;ess you're getting 2nd hand or leftover stock someone had stashed away somewhere.

Wont be heading out to DA unfortunatley.... Im off to perth sunday morning.... And heading to Sexpo on saturday...

Item: Trust TD06 20G 8CM RB20DET turbo kit Age: Unknown Condition: excellent condition, very little play, mani has had very little use Price: $1500 To Fit: (What car) RB20 or RB25 Location: Mile End, SA Contact: Ben - PM, reply in this thread, or ring 0433 535 410 Comments: Hey all, Bought this kit for my car recently, decided I want something a little smaller, so it's up for sale. It's a trust TD06 20G 8cm internal gate kit for a RB20, comes with all lines, cast hot pipe, manifold spacer, all studs etc, Trust cast dump pipe, Adj. actuator etc, ie. the full bolt on kit VERY good turbo for those wanting big power out of their RB20's, be insane on a RB25. A Mates R32 was tuned with the same turbo kit, and supporting mods (Z32, GTR injectors, pump, FMIC, exhaust, remap) and made 241rwkw on 16 psi, with 16psi by 3900-4000 RPM, holding boost hard till 8500RPM limiter. Comes on a bit later, but when it hit's, it hits HARD. Kit also comes with a DMAX Japan stainless low mount manifold, extra bracing added, not a cheap china mani. Im chasing $1500 for the full bolt on kit. Will trade for certain parts. PM me with what you have. Am willing to send at buyers expense, but beware, it's pretty heavy. Located in Mile End SA, Contact Ben via PM, this thread or 0433 535 410.

Well, BEE-R's and URAS NS-01's are both discontinued. XD9's are a very good wheel for the money. And there's nothing wrong with the ROH's....... as long as they're the custom 3 piece modulars and not the mass produced cast wheels. I got mine in custom offsets/widths/face types for less that 2K, and in 4 stud too. Have you Looked at 5 Zigen GN+ Racer wheels? Can have you a set here for under $1600. Or $1800 for 18's. Your biggest problem is if you buy here, you're paying a huge markup on them...... if you order from japan, you'll save a ton. In saying that, it's not that Aussie buisnesses are slapping huge amounts of markup on them for themselves..... it's to cover buying the wheels, import taxes, customs duties, freight etc. and then their profit goes on top. Jump on Nengun/Greenline.co.jp/Perfect Run etc and see if you can get a set delivered here? Exactly what Id be doing.
