  10. yeah, cam gears will help a bit, but dont expect miracles..... Id think it's be seeing full boost around the 3800-4000 rpm region.... should be a good thing. be gentle with the gearbox though... they like to start breaking if you abuse them at those power levels.
  11. Id add a Z32 into the equation and shoot for 220 - 230. Those turbo's are capable of 250...... and reportedly VERY responsive on a 20..... sounds like it's gonna be a stomper setup though. Im basically running a similar setup with my TD0620G 8cm (Walbro (soon to be 044 and 2.5ltr surge tank)/FMIC/exhaust/DMAX manifold/GTR injectors/Z32 AFM/Boostworx Remap/RB25 box), and shaun tuned a similar setup on a R32, 241kw's on 16 psi, full 16 psi By 4000rpm. Ill be running 1.2/1.3 bar and a 8500rpm limiter.... Hoping for a solid 250.
  12. Sweet! Heard good things about those turbo's on 20's.... f**king hard to get hold of though. I know where there's a complete RB20 kit, but it's $2K or something stupid, So I went with a trust turbo. You changine injectors/AFM/ECU at all?

  15. I raced Karts when I was younger... I had a CAMS license before I had my road license LOL. My dad has raced Cars and bikes for years... I mean years (from like 17 and he just turned 54) and he didnt start out in a GTHO He started out in a Datto 1200 coupe. Ive still stacked a couple of cars, simply by pushing myself too far and/or being a dickhead. I can happily admit that. Only learn from mistakes. All comes down to the individual in the end. Im not telling him to not buy a turbo, Im saying I found it more beneficial to start small and work my way up. Shit, you can still kill someone in a Hyundai Excel....... I suggest get a R31, make $5K worth of mods to it, and invest some in Defensive Driving/Insurance/rego and chuck the rest in the bank. As a side note, you'll be paying $3000 a year for full comp insurance, dunno what turbo you're going to buy with $7K.

My First car was a 1966 Mk 1 cortina 220 two door..... with a 220 hp Pinto/1600 twin cam hybrid in it, twin webbers, Spax adj. race sus, Capri V6GT brakes, superlights etc, Was built along the mines of my dads Appendix J racecar (66MK1 Lotus), and Im glad that was my first car... as I learnt NOT what to do. My dad and me built it over 6 months, he tought me how to drive in it..... and I stacked it the first night out on my P's LOL. From experience.... get a R31/KE70/AE86 or something like that, cheap, still can be modded, and still capable of being driven hard, learn how to handle it, then step up to something more powerful, or continue to mod that. (I have a Rb20DET 31, be making 250kw's when the TD06 and injectors go in and tuned) There's a S3 RB30 5 speed 31 for sale on the 31 skyline club for $1500, add $2500 for full S13/R32 coilover and brake conversion/swaybars/panhard/bushes/tower bar/castor arms etc, get some decent wheels for it, Extractors and exhaust and clutch, spooled diff and a few other odds and ends... Be a very competent car in the hills, can go out skidding, yet still drive it to work every day, not get hassled by the 5-0, cheap insurance, parts are plentiful and cheap, and can drop a turbo driveline with VERY minimal hassle when you want some more grunt.

IF you can find one for $6-7K (which is going to be a tall order, theey're still 10K there....), still going to be $15K by the time you get it just READY for rego. add in rego/tyres/on roads/inland transport etc and you still nearly on $20K. And you're starting off with a stock car. Buy one here already modded and ready to rock and save the time/hassle/headf**ks and the 3 month wait. If you buy one from interstate still cheaper than bringing one of your own over....
  19. Car will have to be returned to COMPLETLEY stock. 430hp indicates new turbo(s), fuel system, exhaust, FMIC, engine build, Management/ECU etc.... all have to go back to standard. Compliance - $5K plus getting all the stock shit. All the freight charges/import taxes/duties etc. be looking @ $20K - $25K after all that +tyres/Inland transport/rego etc..... Cheaper and easier to buy one here.
  20. KE70 corolla with 4age and a shitload of sus work. Mightn't be too quick in a straight line, but there'll be bugger all that can keep up with you in the twisties.

  22. BTW You have PM madaz, and also, that FD would need to be RAWS complied as it's a 95 model (I think, well has S7/8 front end), which is about $3-5K, and needs to stock standard. Nice as a track car though LOL.....
  23. If you insist . Ive never had as much trouble and f**kups as what Ive had with that f**king 31. Only reason I want to drive it is because I dont care if I f**k it. I despise the thing. Never had these problems with my RX7's. Funny thing is, Dom wants me to get one as well. It's fine to have Ideas if you actually carry them out. 20V 4age coming right up sir.
  24. Until it blows up. I kid.... I kid..... And After seeing Isaacs S3 last night, I want to get rid of the 31. I want another Rotor.
