With cars, you ALWAYS run into extra bits and pieces to do. If I were you I'd still do it just for the experience as you will learn alot about how the car works along with gain more confidence mechanically (if that makes sense). It isnt a small job, but it is definetly doable even if you dont know too much about it, just call friends, ask questions on forums and talk to tuners when you hit an obstacle. Give it a go I say

Hey guys, Well after realiseing my car wasnt sitting righ, I went to adjust my coilovers the other day only to find the bottom height adjustment bracket has seized due to the insane amount of dirt and grime covering them. Im going to hit them with the gernie and various combinations of wd40, degreaser, washing detergent etc tonight and see it thet does anything. I was just wondering if anybody else has had a similar experience, and if so, how did you go about it? Cheers Ryan

UPDATE?EDIT: after checking it on the weekend as I wasnt sure if the card was actually 2 or 4 gig when I wrote the post I found that the memory card is actually a 4 GIG card cheers Ryan

do you mean single or split pule entry eg the exhaust housing? if so its single, atleast the 3 that i have worked with have been including my own, so to my understanding, unless anoybody knows otherwise, its single

Hey just got my Xbox up for sale, I just offloaded my 360 and somehow forgot about this. I never have time for it now as between work, the misses and the car the only spare time I have I spend sleeping or being terrorized by a 5 year old, so heres is my xbox up for sale. Its in A1 condition and has a D1 spec paint job which I applied myself in my days of youth lol. Dont worry i took the cover off to do the work. Basically, a mates car came over with one on it. Since then we have ripped out that engine/management and he has decided he isn't putting it back in with the new setup so I thought id try it for kicks, imagine this, external gate, massive flames and a sick hektic flutter, then I'm gonna get flashing lights on my roof and drift around shooting fireworks out the window, might even throw in a duck call whistle thing and some neons

Though i may not comment on roys car much or actually know him, I have read many of his posts and conversations on here regarding his engine and turbo setup (stalk much?) as like I previously mentioned, I was looking into a td06 20g also for my car instead of the 3037. When the guy said your engine wasn't stock, it wasn't in accusation, but more in admiration as he simply couldn't believe the power it was making as well as the response. This is the thing I hate about email/internet, you can never actually interpret the tone of what somebody is saying properly. Reminds me of the Hamish and Andy show the other week when they were talking about angry office memos that don't get their intended tone across and just end up being funny.

yeah thats what i thought, but i read a thread from the UK aswell as a HPI review and both said you couldnt run it if you have a PFC, which seemed a little weird to me aswell but i thought it wouldnt hurt to check before handing out my hard earned.

No engine is going to be "easy" to take out, but last rb I took out (an rb20) wasn't any more of a hassell then previous jobs I've done, was just as easy as the time we swapped a CA to an SR in my mates sil80 or when we put in a new motor in my mates POS commodore. Thanks for the comments none the less peoples, I've called around a few places and done some research and I have a pretty clear of an idea of the path the rebuild is going the take. Its not going to be immediate, I'm going to gradually collect parts over time and then when it goes POP in go the goodies. WISH ME LUCK!

hey mate, just do the welding as every1 else is telling you (i personally had 2 easy out all 5 of my broken ones as they were flush with the head). as for the stud, call around your local auto parts stockist, maby some bolt shops (depends where you go in both cases as they arnt exactly common) and ask if they have studs in an m10 * 1.25 pitch at 50mm, saves the wait at nissan (you sound impatient, just like me so im sure you would appreciate this too lol) if all else fails, yeah nissans the go
