so i didnt read all the above but from what i have found with working doesnt really matter if you like it, work is just that work its a key to provide you the things in life you actually want/want to do regardless your going to have to work may as well make alot doing it. i often find myself thinking the way you have posted emsta but at 23 going on 24 and earning six figures for the last 4 years without going to uni etc how else would i get the same income and luxuries that my income can provide? its impossible so im stuck doing something im moderatly happy with these days but i offset the dissapointment through the income it provides. so id say stick out cpa it'll take you a long way and let the contacts and money you earn along the way be your satisfaction not the work itsself. if your gunna hate work may as well hate it from within your big house in a nice street with decent cars in the garage, you will end up hating whatever you do, cos lifes a bitch

thos will all have the same outcome 1st or 10th offence if your exhaust is over when they test it on the side of the road or whatever you will get fined, if you get a letter in the mail to go get it tested at your local exhaust place or whatever you wont get a fine, you'll get an oppertunity to fix it same as if you get summond for a test then you can fix it before hand and not get done someone might correct me here but your roadworthy hasnt got anything to do with how loud your exhaust is its a seperate jurisdiction so that wont help you much. could be wrong though

defect notice and canarie is the same thing cos they are yellow they get called canaries depends on the cop you might get a minor or major, if you give good wristys might even get a warning but dont count on it.. you are not likely to get a defect for your exhaust unless its too low as noise is epa not police issue but they are the ones who will report you to epa..

borrow a stock exhaust to be safe, im assuming your running an aftermarket?

fark the TMU is more appropriate i find most other police officers who preform the usual duties and things are fine, just seems all the tmu i have ever come across are dogs with a massive chip on their shoulders, i'm fine to wear a defect or whatever since i modded my car knowing it was defectable but their attitude, smartarse comments and been treated like a 4th class citizen i dont appreciate.
