yeh im running 18x9.5 +15 front 235/35s but i have +20mm front guards so on stock guards even with a roll sticks out by a fkn mile id suggest maybe +30ish to keep it more in the body unless you like mexican which i doubt but be careful i got some work eurolines 18x9 +30 only fit with 25mm spacers cos deep dish design and brake calipers thats why i went with mismatched and it kinda suits my car style.

i wish i could agree with all this dont drive like a hoon show respect and the police are decent. this is not true ive been stopped countless times not once have i been shown respect. ive been followed for yonks in the hope i would rip a fat skid and more.. i work with people every day in a professional industry if i treated people the way i get treated by the police and i can only comment on every instance ive personally had with them id get fired in the first hour.. the police force is under regulated and watched by their own really worth while in my opinion. sure my car is slightly lowered,fmic and has larger wheels then factory otherwise engine is stock but i bet my car is a heap safer then half the other beat up clapped out magna's getting around...

whats with handing out the fine anyway is it really necessary? i havent had a fine with defect yet but if i get one that will probaly push me over the edge to sell up.

id hope that wouldnt scrub they are very conservative offsets/sizes. i barely scrub just on big bumps and im running a massive 265/35 when i put a smaller tyre wouldnt rub at all. ignore the front that took quite a bit of work but the rear is 18x10 +20 with only slight roll @ rear and you can see how low it is and like i said rubs only ever so slighty. judging from your evo you know what it takes to make it look good so just do it and forget all these cookie cutter sized rims.

i wouldnt worry so much about legal and you wont get much dish on your suggestions rolling guards is no big deal any particular reason you want to stay away from it? dont add an inch as suggested im running 18x9.5 +15 and 18x10 +20 on r33 and its taken a fark load of work to make it fit without mexican look. including +20mm new front guards lots of camber + low. pm me if you want pics of different wheels and sizes i tried a few on my r33.

mate have a look there is actually a thread dedicated to fitment search is your friend. i think your specs are too conservative but depends what you want i guess id say 18x9 +30 is fine do you want staggared fitment or same size all round?
