  1. sofly - second batch of pics perfect just the 20mm spacer in first pic made it stick out to far but you didnt explain that hence calling it mexican.. aside from that this thread fails.. thread is "wheel fitment, post YOUR wheels" for the most part its random internet pics and cars that are wheels slapped on and need more this, less this to achieve "fitment" maybe should have just made it post your wheels thread..
  2. emzii its a BN kit agreed orange 33 needs alot more low..
  3. any common bodykit u will find a skyline with it and in the colour ur thinking unless its wild custom just find out bodykit name and google.
  4. sawblades dont bother. r34 guards are better then 33 i believe.

    Mag Wheels

yeh only hawthorn tyrepower get jap rims cos of the owner there as far as i know, but in general good place to go.. thats a decent price for te37s

    Mag Wheels

you dont need 4k talk to aaron @ importmonster he is on these forums i got my wheels with tyres from him 2-2.5k will get you a good set of wheels with rubber in good condition for sure. less if u hunt around and are lucky. tyrepower are also good for the wheels like tempe etc.

    Mag Wheels

since you mention "mags" i assume your after some basic wheels hit up bob jane or the tyre factory, if you want some decent wheels go to importmonster.com.au or j-imports.com.au might cost you a bit more but your car will be thousand times better looking.
  8. its a complete luck of the draw thing i'd say most of you are passing and seeing standard police cars its unlikely to be stopped by them as its not there division tmu on the other hand sole purpose is traffic/roads defects etc etc so cruising by a tmu and not been stopped is highly unlikely i agree they are only doing there jobs i dont drive like a dhead or do anything stupid but i always get stopped its just how it is, i think they do target imports and would happily admit it to you (refer back a few pages).
  9. this is why i read this forum there is so many ridiculous comments, what suspension are you running? as for "cheap ass crew" thats just fkn stupid not everyone needs to spend 2-3k + on street suspension and if you want to be technical thats still cheap sh!t compared to the real deal of 10K plus, which im sure your awesome r32 has? hsd has given me no problems what so ever it is comfortable, not bouncy and has full adjustability that i need for my car.
  10. ive got hsd tt's pretty cheap but cant complain in my r33 its lower then your wanting im about 70mm off the ground to give you an idea and i find it quite comfortable, more so then the tein shock/spring combo i had and previous coilovers. if you want bang for buck the hsd or bc are your best options.
  11. wider tyre is more grip more stable not to mention how sh!t such narrow rims would look on a supra. decent rubber is not that expensive if you hunt around the kumho's are quite popular and i believe are very good ku36? someone else will have more info than me though.
  12. omg love that car.. and that silver drools
  13. i cant speak for spunky monky but i have had two friends of mine and i have personally seen infringement notices only with a $292 fine both for being too low but neither recieved defects. one of them got a lecture about whether he is a qualified engineer to be playing with suspension hieghts lols.
  14. very nice nur33 just dunno about the carbon fibre canards at the front
  15. you need more camber and and pump the guards out that is mexican..
  16. thanks for that.. maybe it would be nice to go for a drive given the good weather i agree nismoid but that is what they are doing just handing out $292 fine as an infringement notice.
  17. i run 18x10 + 20 on r33 with rolled guards and lots of camber in 9" id say you would be looking at somewhere between +18 to +25 depending how you want it to look.. id say 9.5" is better option with maybe +20 or 25 forget +37 thats saw blade offset. as for a 180sx jump over to ns.com they have a 300 page thread will be able to sort it out pretty easily.

    Close..

    whats changed?
  19. lols fair point shame about that location looks great. made your car my new wallpaper
  20. yehh i thought that might be the case thanks.
  21. carpark pics are tough with the graffiti etc was that actually in melb? your car is tough as i say lower it will set it off soo much bit of under scraping is ok
  22. i like 350z got any more pics? shame you cant go lower would be tough as 1 more inch down.
  23. that grey s14 actually sits very well however only the 1 crap photo was posted if u check it out on hellaflush.com it looks quite good but s14s have a crappy rear bar and make it looks like dogs balls. Luke ur fitment is good but geeze sir you could hide a boeing 747 under your car.. not the best pics but all wheels are inline rear runs a fair bit of camber to tuck the top in but 18x10 +20 fits nicely i still have enough traction tyre stretching is not as bad as suggested above within reason. i'd go lower but at 70mm off the ground not much room to move already kinda hard to drive around
  24. it sounds like he got the fine they like handing out not actually a defect my mate got one a couple weeks ago for too low but no defect just infringement notice.. which is stupid cos he doesnt have to show anyone that the car has been raised etc. can someone clarify does the defect notice need 5 items for a major? someone told me this and i find it hard to believe i got 2 things listed and "inspection incomplete" which vicroads had never heard of inspection incomplete..
  25. ns.com is actually the best @ fitment you'll find in aus imo. mexican fitment is a *style* in itsself some people dig it i think its total fail. fitment is great becuase it takes a lot of effort and things working together to acheive flush fitment without epic scrubbage rims hanging out etc. and incase people are unsure fitment is not just bolting the rims on without modification to make the fit
