Alright guys I got my skyline back from dealership today and it would appear they have fixed everything. I am booking it in for another check next week. Here is some updated images for you guys. I had limited space and time so sorry the photos aren't that great.

Last time i checked in QLD we only need to secure our pods not actually box them as well.

To be honest with you I prefer black but I have my reasons to prefer black because I already have my future colour scheme in mind for my R32. I was searching for some nice black R32's when I got my Skyline but I ended up getting a blue one. Reason being is the blue one already had more stuff on it I wanted and it isn't that hard to get a car resprayed later.

I haven't head anything about the Australian version being cutdown. I have also just done some research to see if I could find anything but alas I turned up nothing. Can you point in the right direction on where you found this info?

haha ok thanks for the info. Just an update, I have paid off my PS3 pre-order in full. I got EB to price match the ToysRUs pre-order deal as they were more then happy to do it. So glad to hear it has been found, I hope to see this car around now with you driving it and not somebody else. Also if you could PM the dealership that this all happened at it would be good. I just got my skyline so I wont be buying for awhile but it will be good to know for the future. I hope you get to spend plenty of quality time with your car soon.

Juding by the photos a couple things to look out for would be the body kit, black bonnet, playboy bunny sticker on the bonnet (if it is still there). Also I have updated my signature to try and help. [Edit] I have also noticed a small sticker on the bottom of the passangers door in that photos, I am unable to make out what it is.

In a perfect world I could trust a roadworthy (which the car was sold with) but after finding the headlight and washer bottle not working (no water was in the washer bottle when I picked up the car) I had to question the road worthy that was given. Those are 2 very basic things on a roadworthy and take all of 5 seconds to check. If it wasn't for those items and me wanted to replaced the clutch I would have never known about the chassis and the other things listed. I prefer spending abit extra to get things checked out and everything while it is still under the dealership warrenty because the warrenty people keep saying is worth nothing is the warrenty you get AFTER the dealership warrenty runs out (first month or 1000k). So for the next 3 weeks the car is still under dealership warrenty and if after I get it back and there is stuff that still needs repairing it will be going straight back to them. I wouldn't call the car a lemon, it is actually quite nice to drive and the engine seems to be in good condition as well but from going to a skyline from a gemini I spose a smart car would be great drive compared to the gemini. I would suggest if buying from a dealership to get the roadworthy done by someone you can trust, I have the name of the guy that did the roadworthy for my skyline that the dealership got out to do it and I know I would never trust him. The dealership itself is being rather good about all this, there is problems and I have let them know and now they are fixing them. I would still recommand the dealership to others but request they get there own roadworthy done on the car at purchase as the people at the dealership have been very helpful this whole time and hasn't refused to fix anything or given me a hard time about anything.

Well its at the dealership getting repaired. I miss understood what the guy said to me, It would appear the spot welds that are there are just broken on some and need re-doing. He was saying alot of places if it was cut and shut would have run a full weld across the rear. I checked out a couple R32's at the yard when I dropped it off today and they are spot welded in the same place (just dont look broken). Hopefully I get the car back soon but not too soon. I don't want a phone call tomorrow saying the car is ready I would prefer it to be a few days so I know they have done a decent repair. They also know I will be taking the car for another check at S.W.C once the work has been carried out to make sure they didn't skip any corners.

welcome, I am new around here to. I hope you enjoy your stay here as much as I am enjoying mine.

I live near slacks creek and will keep an eye out for it. I will let you know if I come across anything. If it was out to get repairs and such and if you know what was being done maybe try looking around some of the workshops on Moss Street. Also there is a few workshops on the road that runs behind Big Gun Butcher in Springwood, I will go for a drive tomorrow and check out some places for you.

You have just scared the hell out of me, I dropped my car off to the dealer today to fix some issues that should not have passed roadworthy. Luckily my dealer isn't in springwood, Looks like I will be keeping alot of contact with them to find out whats going on with my car.

I have only been here a week and already bought parts off Japtaxi and 666Dan. I haven't had a problem yet.

ok I would have to agree with you there, I have a VS kit on my R32 and I love it but that on the R34 hmmm even I am willing to say it looks like crap. If you like aggressive kits like the VS I have found this kit that I rather like and is in the same sort of taste as the VS kit. Sorry I don't know the name of it though. The front bar isn't fitted, its the one sitting infront of the car.
