  1. Why bother then? There's only so much torque you can get a from a short stroke 2.5ltr i6 without major changes. It doesn't sound like you want to do anything reasonable to increase TQ.
  2. Generally longer intake runners= more TQ, so your better of with the standard intake manifold rather than the greddy. You'd want to increase stroke as much as you can and also possibly the smallest turbo that can reach your desired power levels..
  3. Hmm massively long thread with random part numbers vs simple point at images and get part numbers. I guess I see your point. Thanks though.
  4. I'm sure it's a bit risky, but since it's just images that have been a bit modified I'm hoping they'll look the other way. It's a non-profit site and in the end I'm putting extra cash in their pocket Anything else you guys would like to see? Body panels? Electrical?
  5. Hi guys, Just wanna let you guys know I've started a new website which will have part numbers for the RB20,25's and 26. Right now most of the R32 RB20 and all of the R33 RB25 is up. I will have the r32 rb26 and r34 rb25 neo up later. There's still a bit of editing left but let me know what you guys think. What else would you guys like to see? Check it out: http://www.rbforums.org/3.html I will of course link sau
  6. Well the thing is I've always *read* the n1 pump just has a higher rated spring. I've never came across something otherwise until recently. Even sydneykid said so himself http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=1668325 Higher pressure doesn't substaniated higher volume. You can have higher pressure with the same volume.
  7. Been reading for years that the N1 pump just has a higher rated spring over the standard pump I just read this www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/39978-n1-oil-punp-upgrade.html+N1+oil+pump&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=5&gl=us is this true? Or did this person pick up a Nismo pump rather an N1? thanks!
  8. Does anyone know if the ecu supplied ground (ecu pin 26) for the AFM circuit is switched or constant. I can not test it in car as I'm running an aftermarket map ecu. Thanks
  9. Never used, does not fit into my American Silvia (240sx) with RB25det. Looking for $700 AUD. Shipping with EMS will probably be around 300AUD but if the package weighs more than 19.5kg it can be almost 400aud to ship. email me [email protected]
  10. I don't know but LS1 coils are probably a better upgrade as they are fairly popular in the supra community. Either way or any way you go you will probably need a standalone to adjust dwell.
  11. Here in the states, the innovate WBO2 is one of most popular A/F meters. I'd recommend the zietronix WBO2 box however, it's cheaper and unlike the innovate you don't need to buy an extra breakout box for RPM reading, outputs and inputs. It's much cheaper too. I've used the zeitronix with the datalogit and it worked quiet well.
  12. AHA I knew it. I saw the head pics in your signature that's why I thought of making this post .
  13. Has anyone flow benched the R34 RB25 head? For some reason I think a Neo head with GTR ITB's and cams will perform almost aswell as the rb25 head. Is there any real difference between the bare heads?
  14. Whichever is cheaper. I don't know how some are having issues with the Q45, but with my t3/4,13psi,WBO2,PFC it ran just fine. Also with the flange cut off it will slip into the factory air inlet tube.
  15. Maybe your dyno readings are all low AND Incorrect. Ever thought about that? Amen.
  16. Trim = (minor diameter / major diameter) ^2 * 100 http://www.turbominivan.com/tech/turbo201.htm
  17. Proper sequence 1) tighten to 29N-m 2) tighten to 98N-m 3) loosen to 0N-m 4) tighten to 25-34N-m 5) tighten to 93-103N-m
  18. Yes it's correct. Those are the idle control valve/fast idle soldenoid and air regulator. The largest of the hoses needs to be connected somewhere pre-Throttle body (ie cold pipe).
  19. good luck selling the pfc, I can't even get $425 for it. As for timing, pull #1 coil, install a spark plug lead and attach the timing light to the lead. Make sure your IACV and TPS is disconnected and make sure your base idle is correct. The PFC is supposed to read what the Timing light reads.
  20. Neo has 9:1 comp same as r33 rb25. The Exhaust valves are .5mm larger but the cams have less duration and more lift. If cost is any concern there is no reason you shouldn't get the r33 motor.
  21. 1. The R34GTT, R34GTR, Stagea S1 and S11 all have the later ECU plug version that the AEM doesn't fit. There is a R34 GTR ems, they have no plans for a GTT unless there is demand. 3. $US1,700 = $A2,300 + freight from the US + GST 10% + freight from Queensland = $A2,900. Same price as a Motec or an Autronic, depending on options and models. Motec m600 list price is still $3100aud++ at various online websites. And you still have to pay for wiring, and options the ems already comes with standard (logging, traction control, anti-lag, staged injection) 6. Have you configured one of the spare 4 injector drivers to run the ignition? Or are you runnng wasted spark using 3 ignition drivers ? Stock it comes with 3 operating drivers aka wasted spark. We have numerous 600whp+ supra's running around with the aem, nobody seems to have issue with it. 8. I saw that the Z32 AFM was there, but I expected that due to the popularlity of 300ZX's in the US. Are there GTR and Q45 AFMs on the list now? I did notice that I would have to load them from the table, that they weren't menu selectable. GTR mafs are listed but VH45 is not.
