  1. oh and yes their is a difference in the rear diffusers but very hard to tell, if you have a sales brochure (book) on the v-spec and v-spec II you can see it on the v-spec II the carbon weave is larger more apparant the fins are slightly different not the shape but where the bolts fit them to the diffuser it is recessed in were as the v-spec one is not, the metal plate at the front of the diffuser is slighly different and also the two pieces that sit on either side where they attach is slighly changed . I know Le Mans did make up the diffusers for nissan so i think they just changed a few things unless they contracted another company to supply them, but very hard to tell the difference unless you had them side by side
  2. All Nur edition cars did not come with 320klm nismo clusters they came with special nissan clusters that went up to 300klm Z tunes came with the nismo 320klm speedo standard all other standard nissan models came with 180klm speedos also another thing to note on v-spec ,v-spec II and m-spec models on the tacho the 1 to 3 rpm range will be compressed where as on the standard non v-spec model they are not. All the nismo parts were options from factory so nismo speedo's could be installed from the dealership so they can have genuine kays but you would really need service history and what not to go off the klm's
  3. i used to have a veilside teardrop titanium lightest on the market at 4kg 3 1/2 inch one peice straight pipe no resonator etc full titanium nice exhaust but loud 109db @5100rpm which is the rpm test limit for db testing for a 33, 34 GTR, i now have a kakamoto regu 06&R nice and quite but more restrictive and more then twice the weight ,they are a good well made solid exhaust though some of the veilside exhaust
  4. Congrats on purchace i have a v-spec II down in townsville, did a trip from brisbane to townsville back in 05 to pick it up that was long enough!!!
  5. I did think it may have been the millennium jade but in the first photo page 9 under lights its a little deceiving looked more like one of the silver colours , looking at the new photos from the rear it does have the larger bootlid badge again under lights the page 9 photo looks different ,my bad
  6. the smaller nissan bootlid badge , they changed to a larger nissan badge early 2001 all nur edition cars have the larger one
  7. ive driven several hundred klm's on mine no dramas yet no vibrations have done a few 180kph plus on track runs , it had a spacer made up this was the 1000ft/lbs model for a 34 GTR all good so far have not done a 7/8000rpm launch yet though thats the last test!!!
  8. That "NUR" plate used to be on my car Is it a Nur edition? does not look to be one
  9. Yep, i have a stock 2001 GTR V-spec II ECU not really sure if i want to sell it what sort of money are you willing to spend? pm me
  10. either the car is not a v-spec or the speedo cluster is not from that car as it is from a non v-spec which would mean the kays are wrong if thats the case the only reason you would change the speedo over to a stock one is the car had some serious milage
  11. mine was finally fitted couple of weeks ago went from this to this ended up throwing the supplied spacer and machining up a thicker one
  12. LV4 - midnight purple II LX0 - midnight purple III
  13. the v-spec II with the z tune fenders is not a nissan colour it has been resprayed the second photo looks like MPII this is MPII this is MPIII and this is MPI on the 33 GTR's post up a pic of your car if it is one of the MP colours and a 2000 model it would be MPIII and have a look at the colour code on the build plate
  14. MP I came out only on the 33 GTR models MP II was released Jan 1999 as a limited run of 300 the same month 34 GTR's were first introduced MP III was released Jan 2000 as a limited run of apparantly 187 this colour was not available on the 2nd series GTR's v-spec II etc as the second series was not introduced until oct 2000 all MP II and III were based on first series 34 GTR's
  15. the nismo front bar that you have does not come with the backing plate that the badge sits on and can be screwed into only the stock front bars have this but you should be able to some how mount it on unless you want to swap back to a stock front bar i would be happy to take that nismo bar off you and give you my standard bayside blue one
  16. but your still only getting half the torque going through the rear wheels as up to 50% of the torque will be transferred through the front shaft on launch which would really be the only situation where you would have a chance of breaking it
  17. what justin has said is not the complete story i spoke to indy from IS motor racing this morning he said they had a huge drama trying to fit it as it came up just short like mine they ended up removing the diff to fit and ended up cracking the outer lip on that rear diff coupling that the spacer sits in (check my photo )as they pressed the spacer in, they ended up cutting off that lip section to make it fit he also said ACPT were no help and just told him to tighten up the bolts they did not really want to know about it. He seemed to think the best method was to make up a new spacer that will fit and not use the ACPT supplied one so thats what iam looking into now, hope this is just a once of with mine and justins car but no doubt we will soon see when everybody starts fitting them to their cars. Just another little bit of info i have weighed both the stock shaft and the ACPT one stock came in at 12.95kg but that had none of the bolts fitted and the ACPT one came in at 7.88kg this had all of the 10 bolts fitted dont think this would make a big difference maybe a couple hundered grams , now this is the lighter 1000ft/lbs model so approx 5kg in weight saving, the 2000ft/lbs model is supposed to weigh around 9.5kg so your really only shaving off about 3.5kg! now this is for an R34 GTR but i think the weight saving would be pretty similar for all GTR's not really sure if it was worth the drama!
  18. yep i know what you mean but it is bolted up as far as it would go, it makes sense to me that their would be another spacer like the one in the picture on page 2 at the uni joint end
  19. couple photos of my install you can see the gap between the spacer plate and where it goes into the rear diff and also the bolts on the back as you can see are to short and the front bolts were to long had to be cut down as they fouled on a grease nipple any comments welcome
  20. Andrew you said you have fitted yours how did it go everything fit up ok ? as i have just fitted mine in a R34 GTR and the spacer plate is about 5mm to short it all bolts up but has a gap of 5mm between the spacer and the back of the rear diff what did everyone get one or two spacers as looking at the photos on page two their are two spacers supplied with the shaft i only received one not sure if this is correct or not , iam looking at making up a thicker spacer plate so not really keen on giving the car a bootfull at the moment
  21. yep i have the three pieces of paper two proforma invoices and one shipping list but no serial number that matches the shaft number
  22. the only other number on the customer copy is ACPT REF#DS-2304 i have no numbers on any of my paperwork that match the 0508051-1 number on the shaft their were only 2x 1000ft/lbs shafts made mine and piggaz shaft for a R33 GTR (i think) and mine for a R34 GTR the number for the 1000ft/lbs shaft might be different to the rest of the lads iam pretty sure i have the right shaft as it wieghts only 7.88kg whereas the 2000ft/lbs shafts weight around the 9.5kg mark i really need to compare mine to piggaz shaft and see if he has a similar serial number to me
  23. That MW 35AW 35 41.69 is the part number on the shipping list l length is 765mm this is the carbon shaft section only and 1050mm is the entire length arn't about 90% of the 2000ft/lbs shafts for R32 GTR's ?
  24. serial number on mine is 0508051-1 thats the only number i could find on the shaft sales order number on invoice 005831-00 customer number on invoice 000943 Part number on invoice MW35AW 35 41.69
  25. its the 1000ft/lbs model for a 34 GTR which works out to be 1350NM most 300/350awkw GTR's have around half this amount of torque so probably a bit overkill to go the 2000ft/lbs model unless you have a 8-9 sec drag GTR . Have weighed it on the bathroom scales at around 7kg but will weigh it on the industrial digital scales tomorrow at work and then weight the standard item on the same scales when i fit it would be interesting to get any of the 2000ft/lbs models weighed and see the difference
