  1. OI! it's not that smokey a city ok I have to agree with you though, with some people, it is to do with the 'FACE' factor. Even though we see lots of BMWs and Mercs on the roads along Toorak, come on, how many of those people actually own the car outright and how many are paying there arses off for the car loan? Since the new BMWs came into the market, there are heaps more E46 3 series on the roads now, their re-sale value just gone down the drain.
  2. I have no idea how some of those cars will be clearing our humps on our 'marvelous' Australian roads. Go through a hole in the road and the hole front bar or even rear bar will come off I reckon a Toyota Chaser is a nice jap cruiser with quite a bit of GO.
  3. I'm not too sure but i heard there is this second hand tyre place near Dr Drift in the West of Melbourne. Does anyone know the address to the tyre shop?

    Another One

Just read this on The Age this morning. A 2001 Nissan Skyline coupe. Pretty much an R34 eh. http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/pol...0419920116.html
  5. If i'm not wrong, new VWs are being built in South Africa for a while now
  6. A couple of options depending on your budget. HKS GTRS, Garret GT 3071, Ball bearing hi flow turbo. Probably giving you mid to high 200s but responsive.
  7. How much will it cost to rebuild the gearbox? Any price ranges? falcs81, i am also thinking of pulling my gearbox apart to re-condition my gearbox. Nothing wrong with it but i'm thinking of changing certain things in it for a peace of mind if i decide not to sell my car. Let me know if you find any decent place for the gearbox
  8. Hey there, just wondering if anyone can suggest things to do on a weekday night and weekday. Will be dropping by Canberra early next week to get some things done at the foreign embassy. Just a few questions which i hope some of you can answer. 1) Are the embassies far away from the city? 2) Which hotels would you recommend? Budget $150 a night. 3) Places to go after 7 for dinner ( i'll probably be arriving at that time cos of the drive from Melbourne ) 4) Places to go to in the day besides the Parliament House Thanks guys
  9. I live next to the city. I drive an r34. The cars in my apartment carpark are, Porsche GT3, Porsche 911, bmw M6, bmw 3 series, 5 series, 7 series X5s, mercs e class, s class, you'll prob end up a millionaire if there's a grand theft auto . Anyway, I don't feel anything at all. We drive pass each other looking at each other's cars with a smile in our face. I'm still young, not even mid 20s yet, i feel that driving an import at our age is perfectly fine. However, when i reach my late 20s, i'll be planning to get a euro car BUT still keeping an import as a toy.
  10. Ermm...think i'm allowed to bump this up?

    My New Car!

Congrats on your car DNGRUS! Love the way it looks! Nice rims too! Love the front!!!! * jealous *
  15. Spunkey Munkey had his wing sprayed there. Job looks pretty decent. Shouldn't have any problems with them i reckon. Their workshop is pretty hard to find. It's at the back of this milk bar place along a main road. You won't see any sign or whatsoever like ' primal garage ' . Best to ring them up to let them guide you there.
  16. I was looking at this car myself about 2 years ago back in Jan 2006 when i was looking around for an R34. Pretty neat car honestly. I still have pictures of it . Unfortunately i'm going to sell my 34 as well . Good luck anyway.
  17. does it have forged internals ( eg. forged pistons, rods ) or just standard internals?
  18. I told Spunky to go for 6000k MAX. Never go above that unless he wants lots of attention on the road which includes the police.
  19. Hehehe... have you sold yours? Sell yours then you can buy mine
  20. Don't forget to share and care dude Anyway, it's personal preference. R32 GTR - has always been the the original godzilla. Lightest of all GTRs. Minus point is that it's old. R33 GTR - Unfortunately there have been too many GTSTs around wanting to be r33 GTSRs, sticking that badge behind. Which IMO made the R33 less unique. R33s are generally called the 'whale'. Plus point is that it has the more advance parts than the R32.
  21. what were its timings on that track??? car looks huge tho
  22. OMG you guys are stalkers! What's wrong with SA people
