    Security, please keep us posted on your next course of action regarding this matter. I too have a sliding performance turbo and would wish to know what will happen IF ( touch wood ) it fails on me. So far i've been having fantastic results from the turbo achieving 240rwkw on low boost of 12psi on an unopened engine and basic supporting mods.

    ^ ^ The 040 does make a loud hissing noise. That's normal. Maybe you can check your a/c and see if it's from there

    Nah, not a stock turbo. When i had my stock turbo, man, the flutter . Fully Sik!

    I've got a HKS SSQV, i'll change it for a stock BOV anytime. The loud chirp gets irritating sometimes especially when you let go your throttle at full boost.

    A hi-flow cat is definitely better. The designs inside the cat is very different.

    Been running atmo SSQV for more than 3 years in the car, haven't got any problems. Turbo has been good all the time, haven't been to the funeral home yet. The backfire is mainly caused by the atmo BOV. Try plumbing it back and see if it still backfires. Running a little rich is fine if i'm not wrong.

    It could vary. Very big ball park you talking here. I've seen stock R32s in a good condition for 13k. Basically, the more you pay, the better the condition of the car MOST of the time.

    They love the look from their left headlights Was actually contemplating about putting in an Rb26 into my GTT in the future instead of doing a rebuild. I'm pretty interested to know what sort of power and abilities it'll do. Will it be an overkill?

    Just a question, turbine housing and exhaust housing are the same thing or different? I'm sure the VG30 single turbo is definitely bigger than the R34 turbo in certain ways, thus giving me more power as proven on dyno. Have a friend with a high flow R34GTT turbo put on dyno and my hi flow VG30 turbo on dyno, i have about 10 rwkw more. Not much of a difference though i feel.
