  1. If you are coming by the inland way, watch out for cops. There will be a long straight, you might get tempted to speed up a little, just keep a look out. Many mates got done there. It's called Otway or something
  2. Hey what sort of clutches u talking here? The exedy ones? ORC ones? or Jim's Clutches
  3. HOLY SHIT!! That's cheap as! AMO, it can run about 420-430 in a full tank of petrol depending on your mods and how you drive it.
  4. 5 minutes?!?!? That's quite a long warm up. Abit too long i reckon? I usually let it warm up for a min before i start driving off slowly. All the fluids will then start to get warmed up. Am using Motul Turbolight. Don't think the engine likes it. Will switch to Motul 8100 in my next oil change.
  5. LOL!! i remember when you were so excited and told me you purchased a new BOV from the internet! hahahahaa!
  6. I'm having the same problems too. I've posted a thread up as well. Was wondering how much longer can the clutch take before it dies out. I was quoted $300 by a mechanic to do it. If someone knows someone who can do it for less, please let me know!! Wesky, where's your mechanic that quoted u $280?
  7. Do you smell the stinking clutch smell as well? At the moment the highest i'll go is 5,000 rpm before i change gear and i do that very very seldom. How long can my clutch 'survive' before it dies out? Anyone?
  8. Hi guys, i'm experiencing some clutch slips at about 6,000rpms. I'm able to smell it after i stop the car. Does that mean that i have to change the clutch immediately or it'll be ok to hold up if i drive carefully (Eg, Revving below 5000rpm)? Does driving with a clutch like this damage my other internal components? Thanks
  9. I recommend 5 hours of idling. Don't worry about the petrol. To make sure your car's running is the main priority. Enjoy your movie
  10. LOL! dude how did that happen? I've just got a few gutter marks here and there on 1 rim. Don't think that'll cost that much??
  11. LOL! Thanks for the offer guys, but i'm looking for the fronts. Don't really care about those behind. Hehehe Anyone??
  12. Guys any of you tried Wynn's Octane booster? It's a black bottle. It stinks IMO and it doesn't have much of a difference though. $20 a bottle!
  13. I'm a Gold Member in the NS.com site. I'll help you if you give me $50 first then i'll put up the ad for you.
  14. $23K?!!??...that's a steal! Manual or Auto? But with 20,000kms; sounds a little sus?
  15. I guess if you are talking about the RB25DET engine, those are the gears used. Depending on the gear ratio of something i presume? But correct me if i'm wrong on that part. If i'm not mistaken, in my mate's integra, he revs at 3,200rpms at 100km/h. So i guess it really depends on which car ur talking about.
  16. I went there a couple of times but i never had my engine turned on and left idling during the whole movie. I doubt anyone leaves their engine on.
  17. I'll have to make a sign with an A2 size paper with a picture of my middle finger enlarged.
  18. At 60km/h if you keep it at 4th gear, the 34 revs at about 21 or 2200 rpms, doubt that takes much petrol. As everyone said, 5th is only after 80km/h. It'll really strain the gearbox if you put it to 5th at such low speeds. More harm than good done.
  19. Anyone with the floor mats? Shoot me a PM please. Cheers
  20. I reckon 30k shouldn't be a prob. You've got the prize ( PFC ). Car looks pretty neat too. Which year is it?
  21. SKY031, Nope i don't think i went too far in. This is the 2nd skyline i've own and the previous skyline was totally fine. My previous cars were fine too. Not saying that i expect the entire nozzle to go in though but it's really ridiculous now. Takes me ages to fill up when i can't even press the 'trigger' fully. Alright, looks like i have to take pictures of the filler tml. ARchie, lol nice try buddy
  22. which price is right? the buy it now price or the starting bid price? Yeah he placed it for sale in the forums. Some random dude offered 21k for it.
  23. Let us know the price as well
  24. Dude, try Breschani Motors. They deal with heaps of Skylines. They are somewhere in Preston. Why don't you go back to the place u bought it? LOL!
  25. IMO, i see the nozzle the same as all other cars. I'll definitely bring it to a RAWS to get it checked again. Yes, i did twist and turn the nozzle around to fill it up, petrol just keep coming out. Cogs, don't worry i have my sexual life in control
