  1. Hi guys, i did a browse through. Don't think there is a sticky on where do u bring your skyline to get it serviced or repaired. I just want to have some opinions from people regarding their mechanic and the service. Name of Workshop - Location - Name of Mechanic - Labour Charges Per Hour - Minor Service for a Skyline - Some useful input will be much appreciated. Cheers
  2. Erm..dude, u might consider re-sizing your pics. I think it's way too big
  3. As stated in the title. I'm looking for the snorkel for an R34. If and R33 fits as well, i don't mind get it.
  4. In situations when i allow a car to cut into my lane or turn into the main road from the side roads, they never bother to say ' thank you ' . This pisses me off BIG TIME!
  5. I also have a rattling on my clutch pedal on top of that noise. Does any of you have those rattling feel as well? Links if you are looking for a clutch, i've got a friend who works in Exedy and they can get real good prices.
  6. Yeah i was asking about the normal heavy duty ones. If i'm not wrong, even the stock R34 clutch cost $700 from Nissan
  7. I don't drive an r 32, i've got a 34 but i don't think a 33 gear box can fit into a 34? Links, PM sent
  8. Sorry for the hijack, but Bass, did you mention in ur list that your clutch cost you only $400???? What sort of clutch is that and where u got that price from?!?!? that's cheap as for a pull type clutch
  9. Anyone at all? Could it be there isn't enough gearbox oil in the gearbox?
  10. I think they are pretty much universal?
  11. WTB: R34 Manual Gear Surround console Not sure if that's the name of it. Basically it's the surrounding area of the shift stick. The greyish/silver area. In a good condition please Cheers
  12. Traction at heathcote caused a big problem though. Car had wheel spin in every gear change! Maybe my tyres are crap Dude, give some credit to flameboy, he organized this drag day. Gotta agree, a loud ass mazda he's got!
  13. Yeah the clutch is fine. It's a normal single plate H/D clutch. I got a feeling it's the gear box? The input shaft as what you guys said might be the problem. Is there anywhere to fix it? How much will it cost?
  14. Yes links it's the whining noise. Sometimes u can hear it when u release the throttle. How bad is yours? Is there any way at all to fix it?
  15. Hi guys, i just fitted a new H/D clutch and changed my gearbox oil (Redline). However, i noticed that my gearbox sounds pretty loud. It's the grinding sound that i know you normally hear but i feel that mine is exceptionally loud! The clutch sounds loud as well when i release the clutch to neutral, only when i 'clutch in' then the sound goes away. Is anyone going through the same situation as i am or it's pretty much normal or i can do something to decrease the noise besides increasing the volume of my stereo?
  16. Flameboy, thanks for organizing the drag day. Next time, remember not to overshoot the turning
  17. Hi please change my nick from bcc23 to White_Thing pls.
  18. Hey AL, are those HR Racing wheels or Advans?
  19. You have 285hp and u r doing 482kms?? Is that all Highway kms or what? If it's city driving, that's mad.
  20. Hey guys, not sure if this is a repeated topic again. I feel that my 34 is underpowered. Just want to check with anyone out there with a 34 having a turbo back, pod, 8PSI, stock turbo. My question is, 2nd gear, at 4000RPM, what speed are you doing? As for my car, i'm doing 60km/h. Might be me being paranoid but how fast do u guys go at that gear on that amount of revs? Cheers PS: I know i can change the turbo or up the boost if i want to go faster
  21. Lap dances at kittens cost between $40-$50. So that means you are getting your cash washed for $30. Does it include drying as well?
  22. I think this story is based in Sydney.
  23. I got my redline gearbox oil from Oil World the other day for $120. Anywhere else can beat this price??
  24. There's a thread previously regarding type of engine oil or something like that. Motul 4100 is fine. However, it's semi synthetic. Maybe you want to put in another $10+ and get the Motul 8100. If you feel really rich, you can try Mobil 1. Anything Synthetic is good with the 34 engine.
