Yet to take delivery of my car lol, but came across some rims I like for a decent price.....but is the width and offset just too aggressive for my stag? Stock suspension manual rs4s Cheers
  2. Cheers Marshstag! Just went and posted it to the link you provided. And yep, coil overs are on my list of mods. Any recommendations? I'll do my research here on the forums, when the time is right...but do you run a set?
  3. Hey there, could I trouble you for this info please: WGNC34131995 Thanks in advance!
  4. So the vehicle test came back with a very positive conclusion! The bloke rang me and from the get-go, he was extremely impressed himself. He said the only thing he could really fault was the left front shock was leaking and probably f**ked, but will be part of rhe rwc so all good there. So deposit is down, and now I have to distract myself for a week or two while it finishes It's compliance process and registration etc. I can be very impatient, but I'll try my best to stay cool and wait patiently loll Marshstag do I have to wait until It's compiled to look into the VIN details?
  5. Yeah marshstag the subtle dayz add ons are perfect imo, not over the top but adds just that little bit to the overall look. The front bar of the first one is infact stock with just a bolted on add-on as far as I was told. Was loose and cracked, put me off. Plus getting up my driveway wouldn't have done it any favours. And Jezboosted, cheers for the heads up on the strut brace.... I didn't know they were supposed to be there standard, will chase one up if that's the case. And the antenna is just clamped there, I have no idea what it runs as there is a plethora of screens and cd/dvd players and stacker inside lollll....standard jap stuff really Hanging for the vehicle test feedback, by around 6-7 tonight I'll know if It's a genuine car or weather I keep looking....fingers crossed it gets a thumbs up!
  6. Haha took me a few seconds to figure out why you were selling an R34 GTT for $40k! Then i realised it is an 'R' not 'T' Best of luck with the sale, might want to list KM's, and weather they match the car since it's a Nismo cluster
  7. Who wants that annoying atmo bov sound anyway. Just don't run a bov for ultimate dolphin flutters
  8. Yeah price seems right if like you say, the KM"s are real KiwiRS4T And yep, if a swap of roofs was possible, I'd jump at it lol Cool, glad to hear the positive feedback nick88, he seems like a pretty genuine dude...as far as importers go (as we know, they're all a little dodgy ;P) And yep, not my first Nissan, usually dam tough units. But i will be breaking his balls if things aren't right
  9. Wow.....so tempted right now, what a package! Would you have any idea what the process would be to have it easily registered over here in Melb, and would your NSW engineers cert. be valid in Melb?
  10. Hey guys, not exactly new to the SAU community but new to the Stagea community. Went today to look at two white series two RS4S manuals today, and although both exceeded my expectations (first two I've looked at), the second one especially impressed me! Number one- http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/dealer/details.aspx?R=AGC-AD-13536037&Cr=12 Number two- http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=SSE-AD-2042842&Cr=14 Some might wonder why the first one lost out, as it has rims, suspension (turned out to be fully adjustable nismo coil overs), extra body kit, and twin sunroofs....as well as a cat back 3" exhaust and braided brake lines that weren't listed. Although awesome to look at, and it drove well, there were signs of rust in all of the usual spots except the strut towers, and a few cracks in the kit, as well as the higher km's. Price wasn't an issue, as I would have happily paid that if the car was as good as the second, and if the second one had sunroofs.....I F***ING LOVE sunroofs. But here's why the second one won! I won't speak too soon as I sill have to the second one tested by Stateroads on Tues, but from my close inspection and test drive, it looks be be in awesome condition VERY straight clean body, no rust in the strut towers, rear hatch under the rubber, in the spare wheel cavity, or in the wing mirrors!! I actually couldn't believe it, as i was prepared for a little rust here and there, but to find none was bloody awesome! Interior was very tidy as well, very minimal steering wheel or gear knob wear and the floor of both the driver and passenger footwell was almost spotless. Drove really smooth, easy clutch action with a nice tight box (lol). Only thing i could fault from my fairly thorough inspection/test drive was that the 3 factory center gauges (torque split/volts/boost) weren't working. Is that a relatively easy fix?? I found it to be not overly powerful, but I am coming from a 185awkw RVR Hypergear, so I wasn't expecting the same kind of pull. But that can be fixed, quite easily Not my first rb25, I owned an R31 coupe (hence my user name) with a 25 transplant back in '02/'03, very cool car! Now all i have to do is play the waiting game on the vehicle test, cross my fingers it all checks out as well as it did with me, and I'll be in a shiny new ride!! Oh, and then go and visit Prestige Sunroofs, to complete the package
  11. As the title says, show me what you've got please Of course, must be 5x114.3 if something other than stock gtr's.
  12. Hi guys. Recently purchased a hypergear rvr and as some of you would know, they share alot with the evo 3's inc. all thngs wheel/brake related. Now my q is, i've seen alot of guys fiting the 18x9 r34 GTR rims to their later model evos and am wondering if the rvr stud pattern would allow me to fit the 16x8 r32 GTR rims?? I realise this prob isn't the ideal place to be asking this sort of q, but it cant hurt to toss it out there regardless. Cheers guys.....

  15. DANG i love this 32....... free bump (hey, i figure if im not the buyer, i hope someone who loves it more than me is....) Gl nismor32, im still waitin 4 mine 2 sell, it's a slow process
  16. I really like this 32, but still in the process of sellin my 4x4. If things work out, you'll b gettin a call from me 4 sure.... In the mean time, could u please send some more pics to [email protected] Thanks!
  17. That's an awesome 32 there, do u have any power figures, turbo specs, service records etc? How good is the paint exactly, is it fading anywhere or is there any rust? Thanks, im pretty fussy (although realistic as it is a 13yr old car).
  18. Thanks mate, im goin away soon and wont b checkin my emails 4 a while so when i get back, i'd definatly appreciate some pics of ur bay... so yeah, i'll PM ya
  19. ghostflame, have u got an rb20, or 25??? Ur reply is pretty much what i was after, thanks 4 ur 'first hand' answer..... i can understand people throwing around there 2 cents worth of theories and thoughts, but is good to hear a dirct answer to my q :uh-huh:
  20. Not really concerned with the flutter too much, but was wondering if the rlocation of the AFM to the cooler pipe giving a short tract from turbo to filter would 'contribute' to a louder/more high pitch flutter, like on the rb30's...... and, in-turn, if it's a worthwhile mod. All ur replys have been great, but im still waiting 4 first hand experience :Pimp2:
  21. So......has anyone actually done it on an rb20/25...besides ur mate jaik?
  22. I had a link running my rb20 (t3/4, cooler, 3", etc) and it ran very well, although fuel economy was pretty poor, prob due more to my right foot tho.... I loved how it ran on a map sensor, NEVER back fired, stalled, or anything, and that was running either standard BOV, aftermarket BOV, or no BOV (tried 'em all). Then, when i did an rb25 conv. i used the link on that too, which seemed ok, cold start was always a bit of a prob tho, it would constantly rev at 1000-1100rpm even when warm. Same deal as above with the map sensor. Not sure about air-con, as the condenser was ripped out because of cooler piping. I had alot of workshops tell me that they were shit, ended up at AVO who did as good a job as they could. I never tuned it for max power (sold now), just tuned to be driven (stock psi) after the conversion. As stated already, they're VERY common over in NZ, and if tuned correctly, will stand up against most mid range ECU's. But, having said all that, i've 'heard' that u cant really beat the power fc 4 an rb25.... choice is yours.
