  7. What a great start to a week found my r33 broken into and our family car (commodore) at 5.30am this morning and a possibility that i may have scared them away when i turned the front light on to get my scarf out of the car this morning otherwise it would have been my bf's r32 aswell. (luckily) unfortunately for me inside of my car was soaked from the rain this morning as the scum left both car doors (passenger) and (driverside) wide open. Hhmm took my lunch money damn low life scum, they were probably in the process in taking my safc as i found it on the passenger seat so it would have been ripped out. i guess its good news that it was still there and i dont know if there was further damage as i had to run off to go to work. i thought i lived in a safe neighbourhood but no such thing anymore. i thought i was still dreaming when i walked out to find this. Located in the western suburb (plumpton) just lookout!
  8. Sorry bout the late reply. Ive disconnected the cd player for now. My mate thinks it might have something to do with how the earth is wired up. He said to ground it instead of using the grounding wire, if that makes sense. I havnt had an oppurtunity to do this yet. Though it was working fine how it wired up before the battery incident. Cheers D

  11. Hey LOOF Great video, music suited it really well too. Nice to meet you and your missus too. A good night all in all. I only wish we could of cruised as one big group instead of in packs though. Cheers everyone D
  12. Thanks for the reply trav33. The cd player was working fine for quite a while before this problem. What happened is that the battery terminals were connected back to front. This cause part of my alarm to fry and the fuse on the back of the cd player blew. Before that episode system was working faultlessly. The things i have done is take out the sub and amp and put them back in. I was also refering to the ground on the amp end. Cheers
  13. Hi Guys, I have a problem with my stereo, i recently reinstalled my stereo. The issue I have is that when the stereo is connected and I switch the headlights on it pops the fuse that controls the headlights. It obviously seems to be short circuiting. Another problem with the system: which consists of an amp and sub, is that when i change songs or adjust anything on the cd player the sub makes a big thumping sound. The connection of the grounding wire is very oversized and the connection is not the greatest - not sure if this is the main problem. Have you guys got any ideas on what could be causing this problem? Thanks in advance.

  20. Oh man, i hope my tomei strut brace fits. Its the one that goes from tower to tower and firewall. I always thought they sat exactly the same. Interesting about the plenum part, as it is definately taller. Cheers D
  21. Going from my experience on my car, it ran rich aswell as lean. The stock computer jerks around big time. I was not taking into consideration his tuned unichip though and was refering to a stock untuned ecu. After imy car was tuned, fuel economy was much better. Id always have to wash the black smoke of the back bumper when it wasnt tuned and it was hitting R&R constantly. Munky, surely it wouldnt lose power on the overall figure. Id definately say its due to the heat and humidity. Good luck with it all, as its a very interesting topic/test. Cheers
  22. Dont waste your time with a walbro, the stock pump will be fine for the stock turbo, unless the stock pump is faulty. When my car had the stock r33 smic, i noticed a difference in performance when upgrading to a fmic. It did have a tiny bit less throttle response, but it seem to raise the boost and also received alot of cold dense air. Id say get a tune, he could probaly adjust afr's again and make the car more economical. Dont worry just about power, there's a saving just by having a clean tune. Whats $200 when you might spend an extra $20 on fuel a week from a rich tune. Tune it if you plan not to mod it anytime soon. Cheers Daniel
  23. Hi Guys, As title suggests, just after a rb30e alternator (bosch). Located in sydneys west, Cheers Daniel
