Where do you hook the timing light up too? i doubt its skipped a tooth on the timing as belt is well tensioned and was not removed being a 68k engine it should be due for replacement yet.

Just dropped in a 68k Rb26 with HKS 2510 turbos into my 32 gtr. She started up really easy idled really really rough and blew alot of white smoke. This finally cleared so i guess it was just oil from the engine sitting around for a long time. Heres the current problem. It is really really slow to free rev takes ages to get to even 4k. Stabbing the throttle does stuff all compaired to my old rb20. Taking it for a test drive tomorrow to see how it goes. Now I know there is one problem the CAS was loose. We have set the timing to where it idles the best and tightened it up. Want to get a timing light on it but cant see how with the coil plugs. Any ideas on setting timing and the possable problem?

I'll pay $100 a week and not live there just to make use of the 10 acres of land for my quad bikes

As far as i know it was blown in Japan. Pitty the didn't rebuild it before shipping it over

Finally got the 26 out of my 32gtr. New engine is in and nearly all connected. Disassembled old engine to part out and found the offending piston. Looks like a nice failure. Strange how the metal where the ringland broke away is still so smooth.

I have turbos manifolds dumps and coil packs if needed

Looks like Loom is sold. Block got disassembled yesterday now have the following up for offers. 6x Rods 5x Pistons Sump and Diff Block Crank Air con PS Pump water pump oil pump Coil pack/igniter

Yep TB went with the plenum

Engine has been split. Block with accessories is left along with injectors loom ecu manifolds and turbos

Plenum Sold. Theres also a fuel rail here. Complete bottom end with 1 stuffed cylinder

I will have to check up if its the full loom. From a 32. Basically all the wiring connected to engine. Have to check if the ECU plug is there.

I have one for sale stock bore 6th cylinder low on compression from a 1990 32 $400 with everything on it

Stock engine from 02 to 06 would handle just over 300rwkw without any work (Valve springs may need upgrade) From 06 all engine internal were the same as the F6 Handling well over 300rwkw. RB26 stock die when pushed over 300rwkw so are you saying they uses cheap crap parts aswell??

Stop bagging the xr6 Turbo. They are awesome cars with one of the best engines ever built. Sorry mate it would leave you behind, very very very far behind

Chasing $1400 for the completed head including accessories ecu and look. Ive been quoted $300 to send a 26 over east.
