  1. I'll keep you guys updated if I hear anything.
  2. Doubles as a cheese grater
  3. The gearstick surround is the test piece to determine if the wet lay-up construction has the approval of the customers ( you guys). I applaud them on taking direct feedback from customers. What parts are produced is up to Sniper Racing. Unsure about the fitment, that's what the Beta Testing is for. I don't have any dates. Sniper Racing has asked us to do the trial on there behalf, as they are a wholesaler and thus have no customer base to draw comments/feedback from. The construction type will be determined from the feedback of those conducting the Beta Testing.
  4. No, as we don't have any R34 parts yet, we do however need 2 more R32 participants.
  5. The wet carbon pieces are available now for R33 and R32 (we have a handful of the gear stick surrounds) on a trial basis. If by the end of the trial the majority of people have said the fiddling is acceptable then the dry carbon will not be produced as the set-up costs of dry carbon are very expensive.
  6. They look like a Carbon Print over OEM items.
  7. Yes we have some samples for R32. I just haven't had time to take pictures, PM me for more details.
  8. I'll work on it, after this website I think I'll own shares in Gloria Jeans.
  9. $799 http://www.sniper-racing.com/subcategory.php?id=39
  10. We have been given a few samples at a discounted rate, thus if some members are willing to do up a pictorial installation guide and provide detailed comments we can organise to get you one now. Please PM me if you are interested in this.
  11. Well as you may know, we probably jumped the gun a bit when we said Sniper Racing was releasing some Carbon Fibre interior pieces, as they have taken a fair while to actually come up with the goods. Now, we have some first hand pictures of the interior pieces it's now over to you guys for some feedback, as Sniper Racing (after some persuasion ) is willing to remake the interior pieces in our choice of material. First of all, here are some pictures of what we have so far, (instrument cluster surround to follow very soon). Now, they debate is Dry vs. Wet Carbon. Here are some points of discussion: - Wet Carbon is cheaper to produce than Dry carbon due to the storage requirements and tooling needed - Dry Carbon will be a single layer of carbon that is stuck directly over your existing dash pieces - Wet Carbon will replace your existing trimmings and require some work to make them fit well - Dry Carbon can be finished in a gloss (despite popular belief) - Wet Carbon will have slightly skewed carbon weave as it is hand laid into a female mould, where dry normally requires tooling Let us know your thoughts so we can pass them back and get these produced.
  12. Yup, +30 they are.
  13. I think its the whole JUN kit, including rear wing.
  14. I sent them an email, and they never replied. Maybe they didn't like the competition?
  15. Just wanted to express my excitement as we have just received a few of the Sniper Racing Full Carbon Fibre helmets and the finish on them is excellent (non melting chin strap, replaceable visors, carbon weave with clear coat on top, M2005, ECE and Dot certified). You should see them in the upcoming edition of the Hot4s helmet guide too. If you were in Sydney or Melbourne I could have given you one to try on.
  16. Here is one. See here for our new hoods: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=4027973
  17. Yeah, taping it up and cutting with a hole saw should be fine. I would use a very fine tooth whenever cutting Carbon.
  18. Having had 9" R34 GTR rims (+18 offset too) on a R33 GTSt that sit very flush with the guards, I imagine they would be ever so slightly inside the guards on a R33 GTR.
  19. I have started a new thread for the bonnets, please see: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ts-t229104.html
  20. Need some more info on the heat warp. You shouldn't be getting any warping because any good carbon hood will have a UV resistant clear coating which will protect it.
  21. Guards don't need changing, however grille and bonnet will need changing. Some front bars look slightly odd depending on the curves around the headlight as they sit differently.
  22. I would not recommend fitting it yourself, depending on where you buy the bodykit from there could be a bit of work involved with making it sit well. Best to pay the professionals and get the job done right.
  23. The 2.5 or 3 is not wasted, it is a restriction, however as long as the pipe diameter changes are smooth then the smaller pipe may not really be that bad.
  24. Depending on the aggressiveness of the front bar and its height will determine if it looks out of place with the factory side skirts and rear bar. Learning to drive with a bodykit, as people have mentioned, will take time but it will also give your car a unique look and completely different stance.
  25. No, 2 door rear bumpers are slightly shorter than the sedan version. The only part that is the same is the front bar. If you have any other questions, just let me know.
