    I just noticed a similar thread on the 300ZX forums with the idea of organising a group buy. Although the jack which I consider the best (OME29023) cannot be bought locally, if there is enough interest we may be able to get them shipped. Yes it does bring up the question about not meeting AS standards, keep in mind that Australia standards must support 3 times the rated limit, thus making it very hard to get approval.

    Why would an atmo BOV slow down turbocharger response? It should do the opposite because it's job is made easier by not having air running in the opposite direction than it's trying to push. Recirculating is only really needed for legalities, I wouldn't use it for any other purpose. Hence the attachments that are available if you only want to run atmo on track days and keep it street legal the rest of the time.

    We have fibreglass bonnets for $499 and Carbon $749 so they might not be as dear as you think. But yes adding fibreglass vents to the OEM bonnet is definitely an option as well.

    You should never be working under a car without proper axle stands anyway. 100mm is not low profile in my books, not sure about others.

    The only other one I have found is the Omega Racing Jack. See picture for specs. Anyone else found a decent one?

    I will need to enquire about each individual one. Which one are you keen on? The black one is the jack that unfortunately you can't buy here. Just using it as a reference for other low profile jacks.

    If you guys are after Omega Jacks I MIGHT be able to source them at trade price and send them out. See the attached images. The height comparison picture shows the omega jack (black one on the bottom) that I was looking into.

    I spoke to a Snap-On dealer the other week about the low profile trolley jack and they are around the $500 mark. The best one I have found is a 63mm low profile Omega Jack but due to it not passing ASNZ standards it cannot be shipped or sold here. Omega jacks can be purchased from Repco and Bursons (which also have a massive discount for those with trade accounts ).
