Yep understand everything you've said and agree,,,so how do we make them take the chance up the inside or the outside for that matter and have the "Lunge". I fully understand that not every team can fight for the lead but some passing MUST be done on the track or V8's will end up like F1 and even worse DTM. My other view is some of the track they run on,,,,Winton being the prime example,,,one line no passing Unless someone screws up. You say the tyres are gone,,,so they need a harder tyre,,,so tragic grip to start with and it gets better as the race goes on,,,I could live with that. Neil.

Geoff,,,I love a man in the know and seeing as I don't have that anymore what do you think should BE of the "Control" nature. Seems the brake package is somewhat of a flop with some teams having spent more money than they would have in the past. Rims are out of control at the moment with all the big boys running that ugly looking rim which have cost a small fortune and now everbody will have to follow suit or should everbody just keep sending. Personally sooner or later all this mega buck spending has gotta stop. I would like to see a heap of aero taken out of the cars at the slower tracks which maybe would make for some more overtaking. I did give it a run before christmas (Santa said I could)so that will do till late February. Baron Baby,,,It won't be as quick in a straight line as the rotor infact I fully expect modded gtr's to be gobbling me up. But under brakes and the corner grip of this car is unbeleivable,,,like nothing I have ever experienced. Coupled with a straight cut gear box and sequential shifter it will be very quick, just hope I am. Oh and as an added bonus it has a flat shift kit fitted. Lee everyone got it about right. I wouldn't bother spending money on sway bars unless you want to. I did 2 1/2 years of khanaring and the 2 main points you need to address are the diff and fluids. PSI's right on the money but even more tyre pressure is what I used. An old bloke came up to me after about 4 events and asked what pressures I was running, I said about 36-40, he says "In car that big no way" told me to run 46-50 and on my next run the R33 slid around the 180 degree hats as smooth as silk. Turns out he's been around khanas for donkeys years and always wins his class. He ran a 4wd TX5 turbo with all 4 wheels at 50. Have fun Neil.

I went to bed last night a happy bastard,,,Frosty putting the thing on poll and smashing prick Kelly's lap record. Wake up this morning with the news that hes been excluded for cheating. Seems the ignition timing was 3 degrees outside the rules. I'm at a loss as to why there should be a rule on timing,,,I would have thought let them run what ever timing they want after all its their engines. What is with these Ford teams always getting busted for cheating. Over the last couple of years almost all the top running Ford teams have done it. Some that come to mind:- 1/ SBR wire-gate 2/ SBR balaclava gate x 2 3/ Vodafone rear brakes gate 4/ FPR timing gate and thats just 5 off the top of my head.

Personally I think it was an appauling situation. There is no way in this wild world that anybody can guarantee that every driver knew that car was stuck there. You are only assuming that every driver was told and you are assuming that every drivers radio was fully functional. The next time you turn on the light at home will the light come on or will it blow. Same with the radio. The Gibson GTR's used ducts similar to what tacker posted but they were left simply either side of the tail shaft and straight.
