  1. Whats happening with you mate. No money I except???.
  2. Well, I had no hand in building my car but I sure have pulled it apart and put it back together many times. Poor Duncan has been under my car more than I care to think about. The car started out as a track day weapon because the wifey told me no more thrashing the Skyline. So a car was needed that was as fast or faster than our GTS-T. 7 grand was the original price but that has blown out ages ago. Lets see what I can remember of just the breakages. 1st motor was crap,,,rebuild lasted no time,,,2nd rebuild was a little better, my god rotors are quick,,time for another one,,,this time on a very limited budget I had better reliability and more power(lots of 2nd hand parts) and now injected. Now I'm going all out with a NEW engine. Ah I forgot 2 gearboxes about 5 axles and a diff that exploded up Bathurst Mountain straight that frightened the living shit out of me. Neil.
  3. No way mate,,,you would only be banned if it had pushrods Neil.
  4. Baron,,,there are driver training days included and a simulator that would help you. Come on give it a go. Neil.
  5. NEWS FLASH Cars of interest include my Sports Sedan. Thank you world.

Motorkhana,,,hell yea. I haven't done one in yonks. Don't forget to tighten the handbrake boys and girls. Adam, I have the offical cams motorkhana tracks layout book if you want it. Neil.
  8. Yep thats a fact and a damn good one. At least I know you would look after my nuts. Neil.
  9. Sorry mate I'll rephrase that,,,a lifetime experience for me. As you well know I haven't got a hope in hell of ever getting anything higher than an L2S. CEO's in Golfs,,,Come Sunday I'll be over and undertaking where ever I can. It's a pity they won't let me run the Capri I would have loved punting it around the mountain so looks like I use the wifes GTS-T. Steve-o,,,If I pass their entry criteria that would be great. Neil.
  10. Come on everbody,,,it's a once in a life time opportunity. Entry form downloaded and very interested. I'll need a pit crew,,,any takers?. Neil.
  11. Too true Roy and to think that I actually feel sorry for Murf,,,I must be getting old and soft. Heaven forbid that little shit wins again can we stone him to death?.
  12. Hi Sir Wally here thank you,,,so you have last years data and presumably Monday's. Care to share it with us all. Can't wait to do some overlays. Your faithfully Sir Neil the Snobby Sydney Wanking Wally
  13. AH shit,,,I so wanted controversy. I still don't beleive they accidently fitted the wrong discs though,,,then again looking at some of the penalties I think they all might have had there brains water-logged after the big wet. As for attendances,,,I being an ARDC arsehole had no intention of going anywhere near EC with the weather we had and I'll bet the paying public thought the same. Neil.
  14. Why would they pack illegal discs in to the transporter in the first place. Oh wait I know they still use them on their track car. No wait Kees sold them the wrong ones. Umm gimme a sec and I'll think of another one. Neil.
  15. Just on another note,,,WE have a CHEATER. Seems 888 got caught using illegal rear discs on Jamie Wincup's car and he has been excluded from race 3. Talk about premeditated cheating,,,they would have packed them in the transporter with every intention of using them. SUCKED in YOU CHEATS. Neil.
  16. Morning everone. Question---Does anybody know where they scrutineer the V8's at E.C. Do they do them in the scutineering garage or in the teams garages. I'm tempted to get up early and have a look but not if its done in there own garages. Neil.
  17. Moanie,,,your a very harsh women.
  18. Adam,,,If you need a hand on the day I'm more than happy to help out,,,Scruteneering/Driver Briefing/Fixing Cars/Un-Doing Duncan's bad driving habits. Neil.
  19. Thanks guys---All sorted Neil.
  20. Bloodysword27 give me a ring on 1800007007 Neil.
  21. I'm after a straight,,,unwarped factory exhaust manifold to suit my R33 GTS-T series 2. It must slide straight onto the studs with no undue force. I'm thinking there must be quite a few of you rev heads with it laying around in your garage just collecting dust. Prefer a Sydney pickup. PM me please. Neil.
  22. Please post prices as per the rules or deletion while be IMMANENT!!!. Neil.
  23. I use an Ef 6cyl Falcon wagon. After much discussions with people in the industry the commodore was a scratching,,,straight 6/4l against V6/3.6l and apparently a much more reaiable unit. V8's never ever entered into the equation,,,the only V8 allowed in my driveway would be a Mustang. One thing you have to keep in mind is not only are you towing a race car but you are also going to be carrying a shit load of equipment. Start writing a list of what you think you would take to a race meeting and then add another 100 kilo's Neil.
  24. looks pretty good atm, our new sponsor Scott from Source Automotive did a top job, gave us access to his workshop tonight and sourced a guard and new radius rod for us. apart from that we should be OK tomorrow, will get a wheel alignment and make sure it is good in the morning It was interesting coming off the road at 130, we were flat out in a right 5 when it happened. And it was a damn shame, we finally found the source of the mis last night (ignitor box) and the car was running sweet Duncan
  25. Kel here with a quick post to say we *should* be back racing tomorrow. It's a long story (definitely best told over a beer or ten) but the day went to shite when we drove out of the Silverdome this morning and lost a wheel. Anyway, we got back on the road- after learning there's no need for a jack when you have 6 builders to lift the car up, not to mention what they can do to reattach guards with a drill and self tapping screws Things seemed to be in order but we had obviously sustained some more serious damage to the suspension, which made itself known as we were travelling at about 130kays on the 4th stage in. We'd just come out of a tricky series of corners, with some dips and bumps when we heard a massive bang out of the front. Duncan did an absolutely amazing job to pull the car up with no steering, no brakes (for about 20 meters) and the pressure of an ugly looking drop off to our left. The only damage sustained is to the hip pocket, and while we're out of contention for our Targa medal, we should be able to get back in to competition tomorrow, provided the work goes well tonight. Thanks to those who have posted best wishes. Kel
