I'm with Duncan, wheel spacers are just a band-aid fix and you would really need to change to longer studs while you are at it. Pushing the wheels out may well improve handling on a race car but I doubt most drivers would be able to tell the difference on the street. Proper offset 18's will have no problems with clearance. Lets do this by trail and error. Yes Just make sure they are gapped to .8mm. 1.1mm is great for modded cars but you have much the same as I had. Yes try cleaning the air-flow meter with brake cleaner. Take it easy on the trigger,,,just a mist spray. Some say they are self cleaning but that is just not true. Next get rid of that stupid bov and go back to the factory one. On standard boost the factory one is more than capable. It can't be coils because they only ever fail at higher rpm. If all this doesn't fix it you need to start talking to a Mechanic. Neil.
