Its an old argument that will happen for a long time to come yet. I dont mind the argument as long as its done with a bit of fun in mind. I bought my 33 because i like the shape better than the 32. Personal preference!

+1 for Autoworx. Been in the game for quite some time, every car i have seen there appear to be very great condition. +1 for Import101. I was very close to buying a car from him but stumbled on one locally from a dealer that was exactly what i wanted! (However, i will never grace said dealer's business doors again as he didnt seem to interested in "after sales service" (warranty issues) or anything unless i was going to spend $5000 or more!)

Ya should have checked the SAUWA Calendar. It was listed a few days ago as being cancelled. The intention is to always keep it updated...my time permitting of course.

Not really, im a GTS driver and i support the idea of a GTR as long as he can "comfortably" afford it and doesnt go into blind to the cons of owning and daily driving one....especially one thats been modded.

At the end of the day its purely up to you. So far this thread has given pro's and con's. The main thing is if you want to buy a house, are you sure you can afford a GTR "comfortably"? Many people have sold GTR's for that reason. I would rather drive a GTS and pour more money into my mortgage to get it out of the way....then buy the new GTR that is available at the time (might be something like an R68 by then ha ha)

In my opionion, GTR's dont make great daily drivers. Running cost and the value drop by putting the kilometres on them is a definate negative side. Plus, if it breaks it can quite often be a costly and time consuming excerise. Thats not to mention things like tyre wear issues that you will never solve 100% and overall wear on the rest of the car like the interior etc etc. Thats some of the reasons i didnt go a GTR and went GTS instead. If you are making as much money as you say, would it be an option to keep your GTS as a daily driver, and have the GTR as a play/weekend car? That way while the "R" is being built/fixed/modified etc you wont be with out a decent car to driver to work etc....also i wouldnt want to park a GTR in a car park with careless f**kers with trolleys etc. Just a thought.

Hi Everyone, Last Thursday the 16th a VL Brock Group A was stolen from South Perth. Rego Nr. HDT 328. Build Nr. 328 If anyone has any info please contact me via PM or whatever and ill pass it on. This was emailed to me from a guy i know from the HSV Club of Wa. I know its a Commodore but its a pretty special one so please if you see it or hear of it or whatever, please help him get his car back. Thanks SAUWA Guys p.s.
