  1. Thats the date of the wife's birthday, safe to say ill have to miss this one.
  2. I will be contesting every round next year i hope. Only got 3 this year as my car was not ready . Look forward to some friendly competition from ya's. oh by the way, Congrats to you guys for your results. Very well done.
  3. With those 2 choices, Tein is your simple winner. what soret of driving are you planning on doing? What state are you in?
  4. Seriously, i would not use Extreme Machines. Not going into detail but if your going to use a workshop, find another one. Just my 2c . Also, isn't Paul at Autoworx in wangars supplying and fitting fmic for around $900 or $950?? Anyone had him fit one? Are the intercoolers any good?
  5. There is such a thing as a radar jammer??? where from how much? ha ha ha im interested to know if such an item can be hiden somewhere and work?
  6. My discs rust up when i wash the car!! Dont think it does any damage. I just do what is already said, drive around the block normally for a few minutes (not hard braking, or brake dragging etc) and that cleans them up again. If you do find a way to stop it, let me know.
  7. I have aussie super street on my R33 GTS-T S2. They are very comfortable on soft setting for the street. When it goes out on the track i set it firmer (I also have the EDFC) and it is very good. i am consistently 1st or 2nd against other cars with more horsepower. It also depends on what you want to do. If your planning on drifting, Aussie Super Streets are probably not your best option.
  8. The aussie Tein Super Street's have been revalved and spring rates have been changed. They do feel very good and compliant on the road, adjusted towards the firmer settings is good for track. I run them in mine and my car is very competitive on track.
  9. No Good! Wont last 6 months. If you want coilovers, save some more money and go for tein. If you cant wait, bilstein will be a good option.
  10. ha ha ha can only do so much hey?
  11. Still not agreeing Mono-tube is better. Renault and many other teams run twin tube Koni hydraulic and gas shocks on there cars. they also get the results. I just dont believe that monotube is the only way to go to get the results
  12. a twintube shock will not handle trackwork well Really? I have a stock skyline with Tein super street (twin tube) that is competitive on the track. It has even won a few rounds. I am up against other skylines with mono-tube setups with 300+ RWHP. So i kinda disagree with you on that one. Just my 2cents
  13. SK, whats your opinion of the whiteline adjustable rear arms fro skylines? they have bushes not bearings. The only thing i am not overly happy with it the size of the threaded section. Not thick enough? They work well for alignment though. Regards Brad
  14. I can supply you australian version of the EDFC manual. I am in perth so unless your close, i can fax it to you. The error code is more then likely a cable not sitting in the back of the controller quite right (that had me stumped for a while to) so play with that a little and just make sure everything is in correctly. Contact me if you require. I will PM my Mobile number so you can contact me that way if you want. Regards Brad
  15. Has anything at all been done to your hicas? I have the same problem with mine but i locked the hicas up my own way.
  16. You fool! NISMO Stickers will slow your Magna Down. You Need RALLI-ART stickers for maximum Horsepower!! Just my 2 cents Regards RDirty3
  17. I spend quite a bit of time at the pits getting cars inspected. Stritch9 and mitchy are right. Fix it all up, make it look neat and tidy, be polite and dont get aggressive and tell them waht a c*** the cops are. Cop it on the chin and move on. I agree with you though. The system does suck!!
  18. Teins are more expensive than D2's, but you get what you pay for. Ive not known too many D2 to last long. Just my 2 cents Regards Brad
  19. $750 fitted is a pretty good price. What shocks? KYB Or something similar?
  20. Got mine from Revolution in Osborne park. Full face $200. He has cheaper open face ones as well. Much better to get new, that way you know it has never been damaged etc. Couple of hundred bucks is nothing compared to what the rest of the car has cost you. Regards Brad
  21. What brand are they? NGK Plugs come pre-gapped. Iridium ones are not too bad. Expensive though. Do most manufactures pre gap? Regards Brad
  22. I use the guys at AGI auto parts. They are generally pretty good. Or even C-Red? Regards Brad
  23. I made my own hicas lock up "kit". Re-use the rack with some machined up washers, slight mod to the motor, plug it back in and go driving. Works quite well surprisingly and the hicas light goes off as the car still thinks it has hicas working. More than 1 way to skin a cat eh? Regards R Dirty 3
  24. Very good point abcent. If you looking for mainly road and minor track like me, then Aust spec will suit ok. If more track or more "spirited driving" then maybe something else is a better choice. Budget may also play a large part of your decision to.
