I suggest you guys check out powerplay imports, they did some very good versions of the badges, including GTS(Top Line)R and GT(Top Line)S.. ill try and find who does it again and post.
-
Dont own one, but thought id just add this.. I know you said you dont want to import, but I see R34's on J-Spec Imports go at some pretty decent prices. Im not sure, but ive heard J-Spec are very good with the quality of there cars and such too. Meh, ill just link what made me post this.. there's a 34GTR going for $60, 400 landed and complied, which is a freakin' good price to my knowledge.. Grade 4 condition.. http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=7881

I'll do a bit of a look, just curious.. Should i just look for 4 Door Stockers in the QLD area?
-
What Area you in? I'll do some research for ya and try and find you some cars.
-
If your looking for URAS kits, Powerplay imports has all models for the R34 GTT, they'd be your best bet.
-
I suggest you look around a little more for a R33 GTS-T, thats just me personally.. Im basing this off the fact that you can pick up decent GTS-T's from anywere inbetween 10 - 15k with some good mods if you look around.
-
Update us all on how it all goes.. Hope it works!
-
Im just curious, can we see some pics of it? Sounds like it's got a fair bit of work done to it.
-
Sigh, just heard this.. another Aussie icon gone.. R.I.P, may the legend of the Brock 05 live on.

wow, thats looks like a very nice import, great work mate!

Turning A 32 Gts Into A 32 Gtr?
sleepyboi replied to sleepyboi's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
Interesting.. okay. I think i'll most likely go the way TRUBLSM suggested.. find a GTS to drive while on my P's and then just buy a GTR when on my full license. Thanks. -
Turning A 32 Gts Into A 32 Gtr?
sleepyboi replied to sleepyboi's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
2GU UP - Thank you for all the info. TRUBLSM - Who/what do you mean by Anf? Sorry i dont quiet get you there.. But yeah i understand your input. Nismoid - Yeah, i was thinking that it was probably way to much money and not worth it.. hmm.. Thanks to all so far for there input. -
Hey all, first off, i think this was the right section to post this in, if not, then sorry, please move to a place more appropriate. Anyway, i am on my L's atm, and will be looking for a car next year to buy for when im on my P's +further. I am inlove with skylines ( No, i am not a ricer that is all ZOMG VL COMMO ON CHROMEZZ! CIVIC IS THA FATEST YO ) and i got around to the idea of possibley purchasing a GTS. The dream is a 34 GTR Nur when im on my full licence, but thats a lotta of time and cash away, so its not much to me atm. Anyway, as you would all no the GTS has the RB20.. but i was thinking, just how hard would it be turning the GTS into a GTR? To take it out, put a RB26dett.. also, would some of the front of the cars panels have to be removed/replaced? Also, suspension wise would it need to be upgraded? I was thinking if i can pick up a GTS while on my P's, i could save the money for RB26 and finally transplant that in when im on my full licence.. and have a GTR like i wanted, maybe not a 34, but i still love 32's. So yeah, any idea's/opinions? Thanks. Mat.

Got Bored Today, Modified Triple Gauge Cluster
sleepyboi replied to walkoau's topic in Cosmetic, Styling & Respray
Interesting, i like it, i think the guages look a little out of place though, they look kinda like there a little too small or sthn, maybe its just me.. But all the same it does look good, if they were possibley a little bigger or just mounted a bit more forward so they fitted better it would look great. -

sleepyboi replied to Silent's topic in Cosmetic, Styling & Respray
Ohhh nice mate, i look forward to next update. -
Fair enough, nice car and best of luck with it all. Might see it, i go to towers every now and then.
-
Thanks mate. Yeah, just got my L's 2 months ago, and i dunno, wasnt quiet sure on what was legal to drive, new that we couldnt drive turbo/supercharged cars, but for some reason i didnt think we'd be able to drive a 32. Out of random curiousity - How hard would it be to put a RB26 in one of these?
-
How long you still on your L's for mate? Might look into buying a 32 with RB20DE while im still on my L's/P's.. Didnt know we could drive 'em.
