  1. my first car came with a snapped bolt, I took it back to the dealer & they got it fixed for me on the spot any mechanic would be able to do it really, depending on where/how the snap occurred you could do it yourself but a p.i.t.a for something a workshop can do in 10-20minutes
  2. I've preordered mas effect 3 & the new deus ex game, I remember playing deus ex II on the old xbox & was an entertaining game
  3. Yo Nick! I've been hiding in my place that I bought in feb last year & 4 freakin rate rises had to happen! after I make the mortgage & bill payments, & then pay for booze, hookers & food it don't leave me much trackday money leftover although I guess I could cut down on the food part of my budget...
  4. meh. I was listening to pezhead before they went all 'commercial' note to self pezhead would make a killer name for a band
  5. welcome to the forums, looks like a clean R33, always liked the look of the S1 over the S2 personally
  6. for the long term you'd want them to be screwed on anyway, when I had my R33 I painted the screwheads I used on my sideskirts black with some spraycans I had lying around & ended up looking factory couldn't be effed finding/buying black screws
  7. personally I wish we had a national racing series like the british touring cars; so much more variety as a result of their regulations no doubt. BMW in V8 supercabs? still wouldn't be interested hell, even WRC is Ford/Citroen lately, boring
  8. i bought a set of swaybars for my car from the states, the shipping itself was fairly quick it's just the vendor that was dodgey, there were soooo many complaints about him on the car forum he operated on lol it's a small miracle I actually got my parts & what I ordered so definitely do your research on who you're buying from
  9. I like it when the bogans know their place, I was driving along sunnyholt road & a p plater VZ passenger rolled down his window & said "so ya reckon this is faster than a commodore mate? Still a P.O.S" I couldn't stop laughing I gave him a thumbs up
  10. only saw the link to the petition site, if they're not banning bullbars major over-reaction by those guys
  11. Location please if not in Sydney can you find out courier cost to send to me? Thanks
  12. exactly my thought as well I mean why make the extra effort & worthwhile cause of improving licensing requirements & driver training when it's easier just to ban something to appease the all important focus group looks like they (in NSW at least) just couldn't let the whole banning lowered/raised vehicle bungle go & decided they'd make another band-aid policy to waste taxpayer funds on I think it's funny the design rule they are proposing to change is called "GTR09." Conspiracy?
  13. hey def. interested what offset do they run front & back?
  14. hey I'm near your area & interested in these pm me your mobile# thanks
  15. don't blame ya, the R32 GTR front end looks so much better as long as you're not sporting R badges on the back you should be right. Personally to me it's your car do what you want to it
  16. welcome, don't worry about other people's opinion on the autos it's not their car so what's it to them? Besides, at least it's a tiptronic auto
  17. yep it was thanks to carlos ghosn that nissan is still intact today a lebanese man born in brazil heading a french & japanese car maker, welcome to the 21st century besides it's more of a partnership, each car maker has an equivalent stake in each other's business, just that renault is broken up between more stakeholders
  18. I used a trader on here amayama to source a shift sensor for my car, was really helpful & shipping was quick. give him a try if you need a quote on parts
  19. yeah saw the one at the motor show last year, was in the strangest place right at the end near the exit & no stand, just tucked away in the corner
  20. personally I'd trawl the US myg37 forums in particular their wheel & tyre section of the forums as a lot of guys have experimented with different rim sizes & offsets, heaps of them have "hellaflush" 20's. The factory 19" enkeis the sport model uses are something like 19X8.5F & 19X9 (from memory) so nothing drastic in the staggered setup anyway 20X9F & 20X10R should clear even the sport model brakes so as long as rolling diameter is within spec you shouldn't have too many dramas as for question number 2 ask a tyre shop about running different sizes as they can calculate the differences, imo running a skinnier tyre on the front is only reducing your car's overall contact patch for minimal (if any) beneficial effect but again just my opinion
  21. I bought Hotchkis swaybars from the US because there was literally nothing available locally unless I custom ordered. they make them specifically for the G37. transformed the car completely If whiteline make model specific sets to fit I'm sure they'll do the same job not much else needed to do after that IMO, I bought lowered springs just for the look as the front wheel gap is a bit too much
  22. What we would call tastefully modified is someone elses boring some people just get attracted to shiny things I remember the one autosalon I went to (4 or 5 years ago) there were 3 R32 GTRs owned by autostyle. No bling wheels, no bodykits/neons, stock paint & their hoods open with quite a bit of work done to them. My friend & I were drooling over them & taking pics but everyone else was ignoring them for all the candy painted lancers it wasn't until they put them on the dyno & pulled 600+awkw that there was a big crowd around the GTRs says quite a bit about the type of crowd that attends these things
  23. I had a look into this when I first got my 370, came up with nothing but mind you this was 2 years ago & there was hardly anything in the way of modifications (moreso than what little is available today) I gave up on the idea as it's a useless feature for road going & I realised I wouldn't get much fasterr than 180km/h on a racetrack straightaway before running out of space good luck with your search maybe Cobb accessport from the US? but not sure if it would even have the speedcut feature & maps would be tuned to US fuel (whatever their RON equivalent they use)
  24. I've hit the speed limiter on the straightaways at wakefield & oran park (when it was still open) in a straight line there shouldn't be any issues with stability in addition to what others have mentioned, try getting a wheel alignment as well, might help P.S I have an SP & the stock sport suspension is woeful in the corners, too much understeer then oversteer kicks in. I installed hotchkis swaybars & the car is an entirely different beast ie; how it should have handled stock
