chris: a mate of mine in a soarer got run off the road by your car, it was being pursued by 3 undercovers, one stopped to check if my mate was ok as he launched the curb and went into a ditch:P any joy from this chase?

mr mag does repairs though that might be your best option... or check with the panel beater/mechanic if they know anyone who does wheel repairs. i assume your insurance company wont pay for 4 new wheels!

what sort of exhaust temps can the stock RB20 engine take? is there a temp you want to stay below? or if the engine gets over a certain temp youll be causing engine damage? thanks adam

just a quick BOV question is the pitch/volume of noise made by the BOV related to air pressure being generated? or is it all in the actual BOV and trumpet setup? will the BOV noise increase with the amount of boost you run? similar to the increased induction sound when you up the boost?

yeh the fluctuating revs and eventual stalling is from running too rich probably so check the intercooler pipes, all intake plumbing and the BOV as well. also if you have an aftermarket one, make sure the std one is blocked off

boostzor if you want repairs try Mr. Mag if you want to buy one try john at wheels world in subi, is an absolute gun at finding rare wheels and stuff.... and also try 2nd hand/jap importers as theyre a fairly popular wheel arent they? although some people may be hesitant to sell you just 1 may be time to upgrade to 18s:D

i think it should read 220hp although the HKS BOV should add at least 50hp...

whats the theory on psi? i maintain theyre donkeys and arent going to let them near my car again watch carefully macka!! having said that in the latest HOT4s theyve got a rex with liberty engine making 400+hp which is pretty impressive....

youll have to check the laws in your respective states but i know in perth mines legal, its an HKS super sequential...

yeh youll have to block off the std BOV but thats not a real issue it will cause some slight problems with fuel mixtures but nothing serious turbosmarts are very loud and in my opinion rediculous, if youre gunah get an atmo venting BOV go for something a little quieter like a HKS SSQ as the turbosmarts will piss you off after a while, i know the **** me to tears in my mates 180!!

well i rang em this morning and they said theyd order some in, takes 3-4days but thatll end up being 2 weeks more than likely i went to repco and bunnings on saturday and they didnt have any, said to try nissan. i didnt go to marlows cos its pretty far away from my house but ill try n get down there this arvo thanks for the help!

im trying to locate the rear light bulb from R32, its not at hardware stores as the bulbs are dual filiment type... i called my usual source of giant nissan but they dont have any, does anyone know anywhere else i ca source this part? it will be at local spare part centres as the R32 GTR was sold locally and its the same bulb thanks! adam
