  4. when the fuel light comes on do they get caught in the wheels cos last night my rear wheels both fell off going down the freeway.... got a little messy bloody gremlins

  6. insurance doesnt cover you if crash with non-australian spec tyres, its considered as unroadworthy joe if you wonah be stingy just go out at night and take the tyres out of the tyre shops bins (yes this has been done before) but if i were you id just buy some 205s they cant be that expensive

  9. sorry i didnt actually read your questions... you feel a slight shudder as the clutch engages, i found it mainly in 1st and reverse when youre riding the clutch slightly like in traffic or in a carpark. i think cos of the nature of the clutch plate when you engage it slowly it doesnt slowly grip it shudders then grips:confused: im confusing myself now, youll have to wait till you pick it up i guess.... what ar you paying for it? i remember mine was $600 which isnt too bad cos i sure as hell ait gunah break it in a hurry
  10. not sure but apparently its normal you do get used to it after a while though. but theres a excel in my family and i drive that for a day or so and then get back in the skyline and the clutch feels incredibly hard! but itll definately grow on you and once you learn to drive it properly youll wonder how you ever coped with a std clutch!

  12. careful you dont tighten it up too much as otherwise itll be forcing pressure back onto the turbo which is what the BOV is meant to stop...

  14. i have GAB damper adjustable shocks with settings 1-8 written on them. which of these is soft, and which is hard?! and what would be the best setting for handling and traction on launches

  18. ive got a bastard 5 button..... the only good thing about it is it wont die in a hurry!!! its sucks in traffic, shudders a bit, is hell to launch but once you get the hang of it its alright.... does some mean launches and spins every gear change! i sort of recommend it... its a cool clutch when youre caning the crap out of your car but its not suited to alot of other situations

  20. its simple if what you want is here, buy it. if not import.... when i was deciding to import or buy locally i wanted a modified car... which dont really exist at dealers so i imported. from experience if you want a standard car you can easily get one already landed. especially with 180s as the jap market is still keen on them and so are more expensive then say silvias or R32s...
  21. this happens alot with R33s, dont know the solution though... maybe get an aftermarket fuel guage if they exist!!
  22. ok ive done a bit of epxerimenting recently, the oil pressure only dips into it critical area (les than 2kg cm2) when i have less than 1/4 tank of fuel!!!!! what the f*ck is going on?! does anyone have ANY ideas? this is getting weirder, i know an aftermarket oil pressure guage will tell the story but im a bit out of pocket at the moment so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  24. did they strip it back before repsraying? cos my bumper is in **** condition and want to do the same... howd it turn out?
  25. well unless my motor was ****ty to start with then mine could blow, but ive only ever run it at 9psi which is tuned to 11:1 so it cant be leaning out or anything if it does blow then i can replace it on warranty (3month) but the wreckers will be bastards cos of the aftermarket turbo thing...
