    im using a GFB bleed valve and have had no problems with boost spikes etc. its being used on an external wastegate if this makes any difference? maybe check the setups cos ive heard from alot of people that bleeders are fine and some use them on very big hp engines!

    theres a sticker on the inside of your bonnet, i think its 15 or seomthing... consult the sticker though!

    yeh with the permits, any air filter is permittable as long as its secure... the just write it down as 'aftermarket air cleaner fitted to intake system' well thats what they did with mine and i know a few people with varying filters which are all permittable

    4 stud wheels in skyline's offsets are VERY hard things to find youll have to look at jap import type places... possibly wrecking yards.. in the new market theres very few wheels which fit unfortunately

    oohsam; that cold oil pressure seems a little high.... mines never gotten above 5 on a cold morning, however that is taken from the factory guage... i wasnt aware they were supposed to read that high

    idle=1kg 2000rpm=3kg 6000rpm=4kg according to the factory handbook

    careful around PSI lumpy @ cred has done some good work but is a hard man to get hold of these days

    i got quoted upwards of $1000 just for labour when i was considering a rebuild.... this is the most expensive part. if you have a mate who can help you out then maybe you could tackle it yourself....

    i replaced the engine when i blew a piston that compression isnt down too much though.....

    once started the car runs like an absolute gun! no idling or fuelling problems at all its just on start up that it wont start straight away, you turn the ignition and it ticks over for about 5 seconds then fires...... i know i need a remap as well but i cant afford it now as i just spent it all on the pump and a boost controller!

    with those cut-outs in the front bumper do you still have the front support bar which normally runs across the headlights?

    im saying it fits in an R33, i had a 33 for my last car and thats what i bought it for! how much u want for yours 60? a swap is out of the question? i bought this one for $105!

    32000 for a series 1 is an absolute joke, i feel sorry for your friend! check if theres a cooling off period on the contract or something and try and sell the car back!! cos the car yard would have made $15000 off that guy!

    what do you mean prime the fuel lines?? and my fuel economy is ****!!! but i guess its all part of the same problem.... AF's are hovering around the 10:1 mark

    i had a new pump fitted a couple of days ago and now the car doesnt start too well, it ticks over for about 5-10 seconds before splutteting into life.... i think its cos its flooded with fuel, whats the cheapest way to rectify this? is an S-AFC going to help or do i need a complete remap?
