    apart from setups i think its also alot to do with techniques/driver skill i guess numbers to aim for are the low 2s to high 1s... the rwd skylines just dont seem to be the easiest car to launch!!

    $500 every time you want to tune the car is pretty expensive well at the moment im running stock injectors and a bigger pump so i think i might remap for 1 bar.... i cant afford injectors atm so depending on the results this may be the last mod for a while... is there such a thing as "the last mod...." ?

    joel yeh cos i made around 165rwkr at 12psi tuned like a dog. am looking at some tuning options at the moment, probably just go for a remap though. its just so damn expensive!! to equate kw to hp (roughly) times by 1.34 so 164x1.34=219rwhp

    ill be reading this thread with interest. my best 60' time last drag meet was 2.56x with full pressure 40" profile tyres and rock hard GAB suspension... so i dont think im in any position to offer advice:D

    what AF ratio were you tuning it to? and what management are your running?

    a mates got kumho's on his 300zx and sometimes its fun, but other times just plain scary!! id be wanting to find a middle ground between these two. bald tyres can be ***n dangerous!! also when racing you can always get the jump as he launches at 3000rpm and the back end is all over the place...

    ken, where does mr mag send his wheels for repairs? does that mean by getting a wheel repaired through them your paying a higher price bcos theyre subcontracting another company...?

    nah dont know specs, its a T04E, is on an HKS manifold with HKS ex gate so is pretty big. its laggy but not too bad. it starts making boost around 2500 but thats like 01-0.2 bar but gets up to my 08.bar at around 4000rpm...... are you running a metal head gasket or forged pistons to take it to 18psi? i know their efficiency range is around 18-22psi but i cant take mine that far with stock injectors and internals....

    i dont know how feasible this option is, but the turbo came with my car. the T04 makes full boost around 3800-4000rpm and goes very hard on boost! im getting there with power figures, currently making 220rwhp untuned (approx 165rwkw) @12psi. Looking for a remap soonish and aiming for 200rwkw/280rwhp. thats with std injectors and a bosch fuel pump....

    a guy on here (boostzor) has one and he ran a 14.2-14.2 a couple of weeks back so yeh low 14s
