You want coffee Dan... Go to the coffee club... I can vouch for the quality of their work and have only had good experiences with them... Particually the Aspley & Cannon Hill shops... They serve their latte's at the correct 65 degres...
-
By all means bring him along Franky we dont mind at all... As long as he shares his pics with us... Squizz is aware of the cruise, im sure he will come along... Slip was online the other day, have not seen him in person in over 3 years so it would be nice for him to come... Revhead, well he is the president of the club these days so he has to come...

Yeah tell me about it... Thursday morning i set out for Hervey Bay... I stopped in Gympie on the way, just outside of Gympie up the range the wind was becoming very heavy and all trucks were pulling over cause it was too dangerous... But a guy with a Patrol and a caravan decided to continue along... Needless to say his caravan is all over the place now... I ran over one of his fry pans, and what looked like a few tea towels... Was quite funny to be honest... The accident happended about 15 minutes before i got there, but the road was a mess and I helped him for a minute pick up some crap off the road... I told him about what happened on Wednesday and he was in shock as to my luck... So thats another accident, but i didnt see this one... To be honest the wind was getting to the point where i was considering pulling over also as the car was a bit light at the top of the hills... Anyway i home now for the weekend and i covered a bit under 1600km's and to be honest im stuffed...

OK Moderation time... I think i should copy and paste my responce when these threads come along... Let me make a couple of points... 1. This is a forum with free speach so speak your mind. 2. Beware your words may offend others and in some cases could have legal potholes. 3. This is th emost important one... For every good story you hear about a work shop you hear a bad one... As for this thread, im not going to close it as it provides the communication phee is entitled to have. Those who disagree with phee please feel free to speak your minds also. Dont just pm me to close the thread cause their mates of yours or you had a good experience with this company... If you had a thread telling other of your bad experience how whould you like it if a moderator closed it... My personall advice, I aways say live and learn. There is no point in banging your head against a wall. I have been ripped off by 2 company's in the past few years when it comes to my car, but at the end of the day I will simply not ever use them again... Im glad you have shared your experience with 101... Im also glad that others have shared their good experiences... Yes guys we all know Matt is the god of tuning anything but for someone who lives in Darwin Matt is sorta useless... Thank You

The destination will be announced the morning of the cruise... You guys will only need about a half a tank of fuel if thats what your asking, this year the destination is fairly close so we can have fun together, ie have a little show and shine and play touch footy and enjoy a few snags off the BBQ... So yeah Rhinorebal also pointed out a few reasons... Yeah, Group cruises need to start somewhere and finish somewhere... In the afternoon after all the fun and games, some of us will remain behind to clean up but we encourage most of you to cruise back to pick and pay together... Its in that special place where you discovered how to make babies... Who???

OK just got back from Hervey Bay (OMG what a long drive when you go via Kingaroy, im stuffed) Anyway i spotted a Gold R33 with a black roof and A pillars @ ELI Waters which is right next to Hervey Bay. The number plate was ICR33... Looked pretty good, did wave cause i was in the MAGNA PWR... Also yesterday on the way into hervey bay I saw a White R33 GTR at the Hervey bay go kart track parked in the carpark... Too far away and going too fast to spot the plates...

Yeah none of them were speeding... There were all caused because no one was slowing... When you are taught to drive you are taught to drive to the conditions of the road... If you only feel comfortable doing 80 in a 100 zone when the weather hits hard, then do what you feel comfortable with. You sould always have a little extra caution when its wet and be even more aware of what others are doing round you... All 3 accidents were cause by people who dicided to use no caution and drove like it was dry... I guess all 3 of them will think harder next time... And thanks, ill be off to Hervey Bay at first light, so it will be a nice drive up the coast...

Im sure he would love to hear from you...

Hey guys... Some of you may know that ive been on the road for the last couple of days and today i decided to return to Brisbane for the night before setting back out tomorrow. Anyway I was on my way back from dalby at about 12pm... I heard about the storm on the way back so i thought ill go easy and have a long lunch in toowoomba or something. Anyways i get to toowoomba and i see no weather at all. So i set out from there, i had a very nice drive back to about Ipswitch when it hit hard... Firstlly i would like to say i hate truckers, i was tailgated, intimidated and almost pushed out of the way while im being hailed on and doing 70kph in a 90 zone. I kept about 100 metres from the car infront of me and i have a 40 tonne B double up my bum, less than 10 metres. OK enough... I get to the centenery highway, im doing 100kph (100 zone) rain is gone, water all over the road. An un loaded truck in the left lane about 150 metres ahead of me (im in the right lane). Trusk hits a massive puddle on the road (10-15cm of water) and the back end of the truck gets all out of shape and he head butts a light post at lease 60kph, the light post then falls over the 2 lanes. I pulled up ok and ran to the truck. All the traffic stops and i hear bang off in the distance as there is another accident down the back of the pack of cars. Truck driver is ok Police come and they sort out everything, truck driver is not really at fault other than no slowing for the weather conditions. Police take my business card for witness purposes and i leave. 3km's later back to 100kph and the car infront of me swerves rapidlly with out indecation or brakes, to reveal a dog standing in the middle of the freeway. I missed that dog by less than a metre as i dived for the oppisite lane. My heart skips a beat and I wonder if the dog made it off the highway ok, i could not stop and i could not do anything other than to continue and hope he is ok. 15 minutes after that a small bread truck in front of me miss gudges a corner (right near chao's house) and hits the gutter with his back wheel and makes the truck jump in the air and spin 180 degres infront of me. Once again avoid contact easily as i had plenty of space and saw what was about to happen before it did, cause the driver was in a rush and over took me only seconds eariler cause i must have been going too slow for him. This accident only damages a parked car on the side of the road and the police were 150 metres down the road booking someone and saw it all happen, so he is screwed. 15 minutes later Im almost home, i come round a corner at everton park and the hilux ute in the right lane about 50 metres ahead of me looses his back end and spins 180 sliding toward a power pole... BANG... The front side bites the pole hard, I pull up again to check that he is OK, I took that corner extra slow cause I had a guy tail gating me. If i were going at normal dry pace i would have been hit. Needless to say the guy behind me raced off when i pulled over. Once again i gave the guy my details incase his boss doe not believe what happened. This accident was just that an accident. He was not speeding, he just didnt slow down enough for an un-loaded ute and the ute tyres that were on it would not have helped at all. People who drive un-loaded utes and trucks need to understand they back end will be extra light and will slip round corners in the wet. So all three accidents were caused by loosers who didnt slow for wet weather, all 2 were no speeding at all but on the other hand they were not slowing at all either... All people involved were ok and thats all that matters, but if a kid were to be on the side of the road all three accidents could have been allot worse. I fell that drivers are just being pushed too hard by their employers to get a job done in a set time or their too eager to get home early... They all need to slow down or they will kill them selves or others... END RANT Now i must iron some more shirts and prepair to drive another 1000km in the next 2 days... Cya

Spotted an R34 GTR (NSW plates) in Dalby this morning... I was thinking to myself, why is there a GTR in dalby. Then I drove around the town for a bit and realised that there are 100kph zones all over the place and the roads are all long and straight... Looked very dirty, but there on level 5 water restrictions out there...

I just got home from dalby now and in the last hour I saw 3 accidents, left my business card at 2 of them... All three were caused by people drivng in the wet as they do in the dry. All three were due to the back end of the vechicle slipping out, 2 ended up into powerpoles and the other one just into another car. I also missed a dog by about 40cm's on the centenery highway at 100kph, it decided to go for a run in the rain. The car in front of me about 100m in front suddenlly merged to the left lane, which then exposed the dog to me and so i honked and half merged as there was a car next to me. I missed him by less than a half a metre. My heart jumped, im sure that dog would have been hit by one of the cars behind me, i fell sad now... People drive like idiots in the weather, 2 of the accidents i saw were small trucks and the other was a ute, all un-loaded hence why they lost their back ends round corners... I have only ever seen like 3 accidents happen before my eyes, now today i saw another 3 all in a hour... WOW...

Dont blame the flashing on the KFC... You flashed cause you wanted to show them strippers how its done... The spew on the other hand, may have had something to do with the KFC, but you cannot blmae the KFC for flashing...

I had this big explination typed out last night and when i hit add reply my wireless dropped out and i needed sleep so i thought i would let it go this this afternoon, but it seems that Mud and Rhinorebal have answered pretty much what i was saying... In short *UHF Radio *MAP *2 stop points on route This is what we have done in previous years with 100+ cars in attendance and it has worked well...

Well said Dave Well said...

I ran a bar on a stock turbo for ages before i high flowed and then GT30'ed... You can run a bar as long as it has been tuned rich. Rich tunes use alot of fuel and paint or rear bumper black, but they are a cooler tune they cause the exhaust temps to lower and therefore they help preserve the exhaust wheel's life...

What has this got to do with a car being keyed??? Zennon I fell really bad for you, I would probablly cry if this happened to me... Id have to say the worst I have recieved was a bit of spit on the windows of my car... These days my car is parked permentlly in the garage and the comapny banger sits out on the road...
