??? Here in qld we dont have to worry about such laws... A 17 year old P plater can own a heavily modified GTR if his/her parents pockets are deep enough... And yes the silver top is rated in the 160kw area...

Red tops come in 2 forms (NICS and ECCS) and yes they are in the 130kw area at the fly wheel... The red tops are a bit old now and only came in the R31's (GT Passage and GTS-X and GTS-R)

I also have a series 2 afm... Mine better that daves... Mine worked fine i just replaced it with a Z32 for tuning reasons...

Sorry to hear Ryan... Good to see Dan was able to help you out... Madbung, i think you missed the point of the story... Ryan was in a pickel and didnt know what to do... A pedel flat to the floor can be many things... Some can be fixed on the side of the road and we all have plenty of time... Anyways even if Dan was not able to do a thing he supported Ryan while the tow truck came and calmed him down... I had a busted heater hose one on the south side of Brisbane at 4am in the morning and i had to be a t work at 8... I was in a panic and i needed someone to talk too... I was angry and was upset about the situation, cause i could have fixed the problem, but i didnt have any of my tools or any parts to replace it with... So after all that Dan took water with him and a helping hand... Thats what he offered...

Also do us a favour John when its done... Do a write up on it... List the mods... List what happened during tuning... Give us a bit by bit on the day on the dyno... We need this sorta thing on a weekly basis... Keeps the readers interested...

Id go the rebuild... Ive been burnt twice with half cuts and unknown motors... Rebuild is worth a couple of bucks more and at least you will know what you are getting. Plus its newer this way also... If your not mechaniclly minded and dont know any trust worthy workshops, then Dan is ya man....

Kezz do u have any pics of them lit up at night... I assume from what i have read that you can only get blue or red writing for the $110 price and if you want white faced with black writing then its $150??? Is this so?

Reallly NO.... DMD are not on the northside, there fore i did not recomend them... Funny that... Anyways Pickering Smash have enough experience and have a good wrap so why do you need to go further... What does DMD do that Pickering cannot. I have had a bumper replaced in one of my skylines and spray work done by them and have been happy with both the price and the quality was beyond what i had expected... Nuf said

True... I enquired about them with PPQ about 2 years ago and it was a register plate and you would need to be given permission to use the plates design. You may create your own plate (within reason) however this will cost you a kidney...
