  1. I bought one from rmahnovetsky and fitted it in 2 minutes.... Good quality and fantastic price....
  2. I suspect it was a bad batch or maby they had regular in the vortex tank or something... But i will give it another go soon.... Just there is no Caltex servo's near me so its a bit out of the way...
  3. Its hard to say whats perfect so you need to try to find out.... But its in 0.5 form now so its easier to try as is before pulling it apart.... Is what i trying to say....
  4. Yeah dan i was talking about the arm.... Damn suspension parts.... All look the same....
  5. My stock maps on a june 05 produced d spec were the same as you website paul... So ill see what changes after Thursday at Mercury...
  6. I have a brand new 3" high flow in my car.... (purchased 10/9/05) Not so new now... LOL
  7. My comparison was between shell optimax and bp ultimate.... Optimax does not do that to my car.... only ultimate....
  8. Case and point.... refer pic.... After one tank of ultimate....
  9. My d spec pfc came out of the box set to 6900rpm.... So i left it alone.... Once the gt30 goes on i will lift it to 7500rpm... but my motor has only done 4000kms so im going easy to start with....
  10. Im a motul 8100 using for the engine and redline shock for the diff and gearbox... All aviable off the shelf at autobarn and their prices on oil arent too bad...
  11. I would use it as is.... I mean try and if no good then swap em over.... There is just too much hear say on these topics.... I was told a standard r33 turbo on an rb20 would not produce a cent over 180rwkw and i got it too 230rwkw.... So who know's???? I would take Bretts advice as a starting point but if your un happy with the results you can always change it....
  12. That was a great read..... Was waiting for someone to do a proper test.... Didnt have my mone on caltex tho.... I assumed Optimax was a touch better.... My own tests.... Caltex 98 - Car pinged its tits off (thought i must have got regular unleaded) BP Ultimate - Car ran great 270km per tank (air fuel ratios were good) Shell 98 Optimax - Car ran a little rough 300km per tank (air fuel ratios were bordering un safe) So i generally use Ultimate or Optimax. I find when using Ultimate my bumper is heaps dirtier after a tank and believe this is due to Optimax being a little cleaner.... Also i drive my car the same all the time.... Average fuel consumption is the same every time.... 300 per optimax and 270 from ultimate.... Plus i can get 4cents off at shell.... So i try to get shell as often as possible... However im empty today so im gonna fill on Caltex 98 and try again.... Maby i just got a bum batch the first time????
  13. $215 per tyre is great.... Maby try some of the sponsers like Bob jane's.....
  14. I suggest a come back for the mini.... LOL They are so much fun....
  15. I would have loved picking the 6 pages of cars.... Would have been so much fun....
  16. They certainlly look similar but their not.... I have one sitting in the junk pile as i bought one from a wreaker a year ago saying it was an r33 item and it it not....
  17. Absolutlly love it..... Looks horn under the hood..... Similar to what i have planned and have purchased.... I do wish to know a little more about the ignigtion system.... What coil pack are u using and its the MSD controller.... How did that work out.... I assume a map sensor was introduced but what sort of ecu are you using now???
  18. I would guess that they will borrow word for word from NSW.... So read up on their laws and try and find a gap for yourself.... I know it does not affect me as i am now an old bastard.... Well old enough not to be affected.... LOL
  19. Depends on the engineer i guess.... For me its free cause my dad has an LB1 licience.... But for everyone else a mate at work got his auto/manual conversion inspected onsite at work and the paperwork done for $95... The guy who did it took about an hour to do it so i thought $95 was fair for an onsite....

  21. Ill try pirtek today and see if they have a flexiable high pressure pipe that wont crimp.... If so then i will buy.... I just want to fix it today before cruising tonight.... I also have a sponge zip tied over the bov so i dont get in trouble for that either....
  22. Cubes.... If you use straight hose it will bend and crimp on the r33.... It is just too tight a bend to make it work.... Evan if you have nothing constructive to say dont say it...
  23. Yeah i got fmic before pfc and it did nothing.... Go the pfc first....
