  2. Awesome work brett!
  3. Interesting... my car is complied and registered as a 1994 model but Nissan Fast shows it as a 93.... I think I will cary that printout around with me now!
  4. Just curious... why aren't you allowed to have an enclosed pod on a 33? I have been pulled over and have never had an issue with my pod setup (enclosed K&N system) nor the stealth Fx??
  5. Cool... was aware I have the 5 passes but was wondering seeing that they are all driving themselves there ...was there a limit how many cars they can park at wsid?
  6. Thanks for that..... sheesh 7.15 am... il be leaving home around 5.45am.... So guessing no limits on the spectators cars attending????
  7. Has he gotten his car fixed??? We saw him at a Friday nite WSID (we were there with the sunny) and about a month later spotted him in Gossy - kangaroo or something on the way to the Nats???
  8. Any news on a meeting spot yet????? Also with the 5 spectators/pitt crew .. is there any limit on how many cars that come in with me???? eg.. two or three spectator cars + mine????
  9. S1 headlights? After the drivers side ?
  10. Happy Birthday Jess & Amy! Annoyed I couldn't make it Was meant to be in Melbourne for work then that got cancelled early on friday.... decided to put teh new turbo on the car friday night .... let me just say a case of wild the sphincter of the universe and 12 hours later at 6am it was done Was in bed by 5pm Saturday
  11. Nooooooo! Damn it.... just had the car tuned on Saturday... I was ready to kick Mikey's ass! Do you need bank details Pm'd to you?????
  12. Yeah... he has had no other problems - the RB30 and XR6 ones all have shown great gains on the dyno... but the 32 one was stuffed. Adam ended up giving the apprentice an earful! All he had to do was copy the others Not expecting any problems but I would rather flow test it before I chop up my intercooler piping! Although Adam only lost about 2 rwkw and his was absolutely stuffed. Might just bite the bullet and pop it on... can always run out and get some new intercooler piping for this rather than chop up the current.
  13. Yeah just wanted to get it checked because Adams 32 one actually ended up losing power (not alot) - however his was bottom part (flutes) was made by the apprentice and he stuffed it - Adam the guy who made mine is currently making a new one for him... Just wanted to check the flow rate and compare to stock etc
  14. Anybody????????
  15. You need to get a blueslip from any authorised AUVIS ... doesn't need to be RTA.. then take that with your engineering certificates to the RTA. They then take a copy for their records and also lodge it against your vehicle details on the computer. Then whenever HWP etc do a rego check it flashes up *engineering certificates suppllied* or something similar. You must retain originals in your car at all times. I actually asked one of the HWP guys my dad rides motorbikes with on weekends as I didn't believe you had to either (never used to years ago) and I was told that you have to . Chicky at the RTA confirmed also.
  16. Not sure on Jase??? Il ask him today when I see him
  17. Engineering certificates are still valuable... but you need to lodge them with the RTA to be valid or something. (Blueslip + engineering certifcate) Not sure on who in Sydney... but we use Kevin Humphries up the coast (Wyong). The RTA website has a list of approved engineers.... one should be in your area. Be prepared to pass emissions though if you want to engineer a turbo back exhaust, aftermarket ecu etc. Anything not on the engineers report can still be defected ! My mate has a sunny with a CA18DET in it. Car is completely engineered and the two times I have seen them go over it ..... it has taken them over an hour as they try and find things not on the certificates and also validate that everything listed is still identical.
  18. No idea on location so Ill go with the majority Its ok Jess.... plumba is working with Jase the last couple of weeks, as long as he gives Steve the germs and not me... tis all good... I am blaming him for last months dinner absence!
  19. Im in toooo....... and Jase stay away from me this month... I dont want your germs
  20. Meh .... two totally different cars and designs. We own both (although not a new wrx ). Its personal taste. I personally don't like the new wrx's.... hate the look and they have lost the appeal for me.....test drove one and thought about it and decided to buy another R33 and keep the 97 Wrx wagon..... To work on mechanically... the wrx is a pain in the ass with the boxer engine. My 2 cents anyways.
  21. Hi guys, Does anyone know anywhere around the Hornsby/Central Coast area that can flow test a custom plenum before I put it on the car this weekend? Cheers, Anna
  22. Is it too late to add a second driver to my car????
  23. Letter of demand? Costs $50 to get a sheriff to hand deliver it .... did that when dad got taken out on his motor bike by an unisured Ford who then gave false details to the attending police.... but we found him . Btw what insurance company are you with? Most these days will do the chasing for you even if you only have third party as most of those policies these days cover you for up to $3k-$5k if your car is damaged by uninsured/unco-operative other! Guessing you don't have this clause though????
  24. Same here all back except my NSW members bar & Donation bar. Can view profiles etc just not the link above everyones avatar... Also will the trader ratings be shown as before when someone posts ??
