  1. Principal place of residence, so as I thought, nothing I can claim And yeah the place is great. Small, even just for me but any bigger and I couldn't be bothered maintaining it by myself. Theres a lot of things I want to do - replaster a wall, redo all the carpets and wet area coverings, replace the garage roof and put a deck out the back. But really I don't have the time, money or motivation to do any of those things right now. I want a new car instead lol. House can wait, after all it's a much longer term investment.
  2. Wastelanders - this is my first year of house ownership, I'm assuming there's no tax benefits I can claim? I just wasn't sure, I do my own tax every year but want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
  3. lol I am in exactly the same predicament at the moment, except Golf GTI rather than Polo GTI. I'm leaning more towards the Golf GTI than then 86.
  4. Apparently they won't be releasing a new Silvia, more likely a smaller engined Z-car to sit under the current 370Z in the line-up.
  5. Had the dealer chasing me to test drive. But cbf while I can't afford one, would be too tempting.
  6. Yeah, caused a littler bit of excitement.
  7. Thought I'd check out what Spotify is all about. Wow, so cool. Think I'll have this running every time I'm on the the computer
  8. I also live three sets of traffic lights from work. I didn't do that bit on purpose.
  9. Seems to be a common occurence now (I'm in Bayswayer North.) I live with locked doors lol
  10. ^ that won't work either Alvin. People don't do it to get busted. Sure they might gloat and use it as a trophy/badge of honour to their mates, but deep down nobody likes being told off, being slapped with a fine and/or losing the right to drive. Is there a solution? No, I don't think so. We (as car lovers) have nearly all been there growing up and most people grow out of the behaviour. Some never will though.
  11. ^ !!!!!1!!!! I'll just buy normally batteries again from now on.
  12. Thank you. I pride myself on my inability to complete simple tasks like remembering I put something in the microwave and just mashed buttons rather than setting a time haha
  13. I made a croissant catch fire in the microwave.
  14. Will check out your thread, cheers Yeah I know I upset a lot of people by parting out and selling off my car but in the end it was something I needed to do. And a little bit of my Pulsar is in so many other high profile Pulsars now so it lives on in spirit hehe I still stumble across it all over the 'net. If you ever come to the point of having to sell your car - part it out. I made back more than what Steve sold his car to you for and his was more modified than mine was
  15. That and I had an expensive dry cell last two years of maybe 2-3 full discharges. I raged VERY hard. Of course the warranty had just elapsed.
  16. You are clearly not one of 'those types'. By those types I mean the knobs you saw in the ACA story.
  17. Really though - those types will never go along to a track even if it were free and easily accessible - that's just their cop out. They will always find more thrill in what they can't legally do - much like how most of us felt the first time we drank underage.
  18. Yeah you're right, I'm only on PGA if I'm selling something these days. No Pulsar so no need I know Steve's old car well, really carefully constructed car you bought, a lot of car for the money you paid. What plans do you have for it?
  19. Moar pics, less chit chat
  20. Do show us said Pulsar.
  21. 86 GTS in white, yes please.
  22. I've used JP Auto in Croydon several times and been extremely happy with the quality of work and turnaround: http://www.jpauto.com.au/
  23. TJ's old car.
  24. lol Russ. Can't wait til September. So far away! Thank goodness Superlap is beforehand.
  25. Sorry I'm out now, family commitments *sigh* Take me off the list.
