  1. Yay, so I'll have company on Sunday night. I did not regret the decision to stay the extra night last time. Made the drive back a lot safer
  2. Yes and yes. Last time the bee sting also gave me a staph infection in my foot and leg and a heart rate sitting steady at 140 beats per minute. 5 days with a drip in my arm and some very nasty drugs. I don't want that again
  3. It'll go well. Clive is regularly in the top 10 (when there's a full field) in his Lancer
  4. If I get stung it's a trip to hospital for me
  5. If your car is manual - you'll also have the pleasure of me burning out your clutch Haha, no I try not to drive other people's cars. Oh I'll be turning up - been turning up to every DECA since I stopped doing them. I think I did 7 or so DECAs back in the day, I've had my time. I'll buy another fun car one day and bring it up. Just no idea when that'll be
  6. I know what a GT-A is. I said find me one to drive (which you won't be able to) and sure, I'll drive an Auto Evo at DECA I have a habit of seeking out power poles and I suck at the whole RWD thing (as evidenced by my efforts at Sandown haha.) So you might want to re-think that haha Unless you were being serious? haha Farkin' LOL Of course I'm laughing Tried driving a Cube around a track on GT5? "Hi, my name is Understeer, last name Bodyroll." That and I don't have the money to replace a blown CVT trans should that happen.
  7. Seeing as Automatic Evo's were never sold in Australia and you can't import them - I'm curious how you are going to supply me with one to drive Unless you're just pointing out the fact they drive themselves?
  8. Give me an (automatic) car to drive and I will
  9. Been trying to recruit outside of SAU already. So far I've had a tiny bit of success.
  10. What?! 14 people only so far *sad panda*
  11. The first one was my regular mechanic who I thought would be more leniant, I was wrong. Apparently a couple of nicks out of the very outer edge of the rim and some more marks on the sidewall are considered unroadworthy. Hilarious. If either posed any threat I think they would have reared their head in the 4 years they were driven on in that condition. And apparently you can't have cosmetic foglights, they have to be connected and working or not there at all. Oh, and I got told my windscreen needed replacing - it had tree sap on it FFS, I cleaned it off in two minutes with some metho. There were some genuine things that needed attention but there were some absolutely ridiculous things. The shell cost me $2,500 to get running and some paintwork fixed up on, $1,100 for RWC, $650 for rego...yeah I made next to nothing back and the time and stress it caused certainly weren't worth it. I know next time I'll really reconsider offering a RWC on a low value car.
  12. I fly business class basically every time I fly QANTAS (my Mum works for them.) See how subtle I was?
  13. Ordering a beer with your KFC meal deal combo in Tokyo was awesome
  14. The RWC on my Pulsar cost $1,100, only sold the car for $6,000. Bit of a kick in the teeth. Now had they fixed everything it would have been so much more. Never realised how many stupid things count as roadworthy items these days.

    Sau Swap Meet

I think a Nissan swap meet rather than Skyline-specific would work better. Remember a lot of mods/upgrades/parts work cross-platform so you are really limiting potential buyers by only inviting SAU Members. Advertise it on and organise it with say NS, MelbS15, JDMST, R31SkylineClub, etc. as well and I dare say it'd be a bigger success.
  16. Bahahahahahaha
  17. Could you please make Matt's booking for +1 (Bianca, his gf)
  18. Can you please put down a single room (Friday and Saturday) for my friend Matt (Butters)? It’ll be his first time coming up. Cheers Bec.
  19. I think my liver is still reasonably good. You may have a lend of it
  20. Can I just mention that last DECA's severe lack of willing volunteers was very frustrating. It should never have to come to having to beg someone to help out - after all they're not paying to spectate the day and volunteering gets you much closer to the action. If you are coming up and you're not driving, put your hand up to volunteer. You won't regret the decision. Hell, I haven't driven a DECA since '09 but I've barely missed one since!
  21. If you made it a bigger DECA than previous DECAs I think you could actually die Leon! Or at least be put on the waiting list for a liver transplant. And Anna - that's so shit, it won't be the same without you lovely
  22. Happy to be Mini Wang finisher this time
