  1. Well the guy left a sizeable non-refundable deposit so I don't think he'll bail in the next two days. He loved the car, so did the mates he brought along.
  2. Skyline got inspected today, guy left a deposit, I'm organising tyres and a RWC next week and it should be gone on Wednesday. Yay, less emo Wasteland posts from me now
  3. I always forget to hand mine out.
  4. Very neat white R32 GT-R at the new carwash in Chirnside Park at about 3:30pm. I was in my Skyline (for once.)
  5. My advice is to steer clear of Pulse dry cell batteries. 2 years out of a dry cell that had only been discharged fully twice is really crap. I'll always just use standard batteries from now on, cheaper and still seem to last a reasonable amount of time.
  6. I have exactly what you're after however not interested in a trade: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/339766-fs-pearl-white-1998-r34-skyline-25gt-t-sedan/page__st__20__p__5742467__fromsearch__1#entry5742467
  7. We're probably going with Metricon too. Interested to see how everything goes for you.
  8. I also drive down to help as I have no plans to compete again. It would be nice if other people did put their hands up instead of leaving the event organisers scratching for helpers before it starts.
  9. Haha, 'sif I was going to do that.
  10. And it makes it sound like arse.
  11. oops. thought I hid well enough that no-one saw it hehe
  12. Trent's is a hub dyno, would explain why it read slightly higher than Sam's I would think?
  13. Ah yes, I thought the same until I got EPA'ed for my Fujitsubo. 91dB on acceleration, 96dB on back-off (does the same burble you describe.) It may be quiet but you'll get done for it eventually.
  14. What are you thinking?
  15. I hope so too. It would seem changing the pictures had the desired effect
  16. Haha, yeah I've seen that. Badboy bonnets look cool. At a stretch you could get a 1.4L 5-seater Cube 2002/2003 model for under $10k if that's not too much?
  17. Someone's looking at my Skyline next Sunday, again, wish me luck.
  18. I don't think I saw you I didn't get a 1.4L, if you can stretch your budget a little further the 1.5L is much punchier and better on fuel. Better brakes as well. The 1.5L has a completely different engine & transmission (same as the Tiida) to the 1.4L (same as the Micra.) Also the CVT auto is better than the standard 4-speed auto. But they are a fair bit more expensive. My 1.5L 7-seater was over $17K on the road, and that's at the cheaper end of the scale (the 1.5L 7-seater is the most expensive.) Mine's a 2005 model
  19. Car does not live up to name then
  20. For nostalgia's sake, dug up some old pics of my Skyline: Chucked them up on Carsales so that people can she how purdy and clean she is. Hopefully they make more people click on it than the old photos.
  21. Oh hai! What were you in?
