I have a friend that works at Shannons so it makes things easy. My R34 was insured for $20K although it wasn't worth that much. It's their maximum agreed value for a stockish R34 GT-T.

Good to hear Charles, that's a very reasonable price from Shannons considering your age, the car and the agreed value. Definitely go for that. The peace of mind of knowing you are covered no matter what happens is great. You couldn't replace the car easily if something where to happen to it so you have one less worry on your mind. My three cars of value (all over $15k) have all had full comp insurance and I'd have it on any car worth more than $5k.

Oiled pods aren't legal as your car can backfire through the intake. More common with cars on gas though.

OMG! I see you pretty much every morning in the same spot. I turn right from Dorset Road onto Canterbury Road and you turn right from Canterbury Road onto Dorset Road. Noticed the Bayside Blue R34 GT-R 'VSPEC' that's at the lights at the same time as us every morning?

Spotted a black R34 4-door in Healsville at about 11am this morning.
