  1. Was good to see everyone again
  2. It's a fine for full licensed drivers to display L or P plates too.
  3. ^^^I've been insured with Shannons since I was 22, but they are pretty picky about who they insure.
  4. Then that's not a great attitude for them to have. You're driving, you're responsible for speeding.
  5. I hear you, at one point between my partner and I we had 4 white Nissans; my N15 Pulsar, my R34 Skyline, my R31 Skyline and his S15 Silvia
  6. There was no sarcasm in my post. I have an engineered car so I have some kind've idea that you trying to engineer your car with defectable mods is useless exercise. You can and always will be defected on items that don't comply with or without an engineers certificate.
  7. Rims too wide (just guessing) - defectable Atmo-venting BOV - defectable Carbon fiber bonnet - defectable Pods - will pass if properly sheilded Boost Controller - defectable PowerFC - defectable. Even if you pass emissions on an engineers certificate as the tune is easily changed. An Engineers Certificate won't make any of your defectable mods less defectable.
  8. Indeed. Welcome Charlie, enjoy your stay.
  9. There'll be learner plates in the photo though, so do you want someone else to be done for driving under false pretenses?
  10. I guess I wasn't factoring in an custom/aftermarket dump.
  11. You won't get cheaper than Just Cars in your situation. Yes imports get hassled a bit more by the police, but in saying that I've never been pulled over. A lot of it comes down to how you drive and your driving record. Rating 3 is based on how many years you've been driving and how many claims you have. You start off on a Rating 6 and it gets better from there. Fuel consumption is pretty crappy, much like any other 6cyl.
  12. That's a tad expensive for mild steel though. I'd expect a turbo-back stainless steel system to be around that price.
  13. SR20DE gearbox - sourced Driver's side and passenger side driveshafts - sourced passenger side, still need driver's side SR20DE flywheel and bolts - sourced flywheel, still need bolts Still chasing the rest
  14. Wow, what a stupid rule. You're trying to make it roadworthy and drive it legally to do so. Well I guess your only legal option is to tow it then.
  15. You need an unregistered vehicle permit to drive it to a workshop to get fixed and a RWC, and then to Vicroads. It's illegal to drive it to Vicroads without an unregistered vehicle permit as you're not covered by the TAC. In other words if you have an accident you could be paying someone else's medical expenses for the rest of your life.
  16. Freight I can deal with. What can you get? And the change because I've given up on keeping the car Auto. 5th gearbox blown
  17. I'll be adding to this list continually as I think of more things I need (and when I realise I've got things wrong.) Preference would be given to parts in Victoria however I can organise freight from interstate if I have to. I probably wouldn't be looking to buy until late January/early Feb at this stage, just starting to put the feelers out. N15 SSS gearbox (not interested in N14) Driver's side and passenger side driveshafts N15 SSS flywheel and bolts RNN14 GTi-R manual pedal box RNN14 GTi-R clutch master cylinder N16 clutch slave cylinder P10 Actuator Arm N15 LX manual centre console (the green-grey colour) N15 SSS leather gearboot a pretty gearknob

I remember the days where I'd get 40 runs in a day at Heathcote. Those days are long gone.
