  1. It'll be cool to see it up and running again.
  2. I WANT THOSE PLATES!!!!1!
  3. If they can't afford a properly running car, they don't deserve to be on the road. I've been tempted to report people to the EPA when they have REALLY deserved it, but I've just been too lazy.
  4. I've reported drunk/drugged drivers swerving all over the road/wrong side of the road, hitting guardrails, etc. Not sure if anything ever becomes of it but I feel better for doing it.
  5. Or a flanny, a pack of winnie blues, slab of VB and some moccies is also considered a fair trade.
  6. I like the sound of DECA in March, means my car might be ready

  10. Oh yes...I remember those days. I don't.
  11. You had a good one then. It's one thing they've been notorious for doing.
  12. That depends entirely on who comes out to inspect your car. If it's the Indian dude at Burwood, you could be rather screwed. I had compliance documents and a legitimate RWC, yet he knocked the car back because it was too low. I won't say exactly what I did, but I removed something, played dumb and it just passed height the second time. It wouldn't have with people in the car, which he pointed out, but I just played the whole "I'm a girl, I know nothing" card and he eventually let me register it.
  13. Now now girls, play nice.
  14. Quite liked staying in Ueno, plenty of food and things to look at. The museums were also a good timewaster. Might stay there again next time, nice and easy to get to anywhere you need to quickly. It's on the JR Yamanote Line and the Keisei Skyliner departs to the airport from Ueno.
  15. 7M's blow headgaskets as often as they need an oil change (maybe slight exaggeration but close.) Not the most reliable in that respect
  16. If the cars you mention were approved with non-levelling Xenons then suck it up. Unfortunately our Skylines were not, therefore they're supposed to be swapped with Halogen items at compliance.
  17. Yep, exactly. It's unfortunate but personal experience really seems to be all that will stop an immature mind from taking unnecessary risks. It's always a case of "that happened to that person, but it won't happen to me." I know personally for me it changed when I saw friends roll their cars off mountains, straight into tree's, etc. I had some close calls, but seeing those things really sobered me up.
  18. I realised today that I must have been staying in the motorbike capital of Japan (Ueno), been hearing bikes roaring up and down the Chuo Expressway all week. I agree, I knew Autosalon must've been smaller this year when I didn't see a few stores there and it only took half the day to go through the whole thing. A bit dissapointed too.
  19. If you're thinking of getting one be prepared to spend a lot of money on maintenance. So in that respect they're very similar to an R32 GT-R, they're getting on in years and they're expensive to maintain. Oh, and you'll love dropping the engine to change a clutch. Their gearboxes aren't the strongest things around either. And they don't handle fantastically, weight distribution isn't great. Other than that they're cool little things. They had the best SR20DET that was ever released, quad throttle bodies, the biggest turbo on any SR20DET.
  20. Just make sure they don't turn on your headlights while inspecting it. Nice car
  21. I spotted a 4-door R33 GT-R the other day in Japan, was quite surprised to see it. I have seen one in Australia as well at a Winton Track Day, wasn't competing though.
  22. If only it was always that quick. Good way to get scum off the street quickly.
  23. I've taken pics (though not of every car this time!), I'll upload them when I'm back in Aus next week.
  24. Tokyo Autosalon tomorrow, wooooot.
