  1. read up.... i just told you there is a difference in pedal travel... and as GTRchick says it takes more force (my mistake) though people with bad braking habits may benefit from this a little since its somewhat forgiving.

  9. they cut the entire core-support out of the car to do that... i was moving my dummie rad and core around and just couldnnt see any better way to do it then the setup i picked... vmount is more efficient but the cost changes a bit... but i think the response will be the same between the two

  12. haha yeah its pretty thin but unfortuantly we had a conflict cause one system was R112 and the other was R134 or somthing... i wasnt to keen on keeping it anyways since it weighs like 70lbs... thats about 5 horses right there.. and it was just annoying i dont mind not having AC i told my jap friend that if he wants it he can transfer it himself haha... the japanese are pussy's when it comes to hot weather and rain... i hate the cold myself...

  14. ok final solution... sorry would have got pics but i forgot to take my camera. but the run down is a comprimise and cost effective... GTR intercooler mounted upsidown where the radiator sits, radiator mounted behind it (AC removed for other reasons) gotta see it to appreciate it, the piping is so short, everything is protected by the core support and all at almost no extra cost... ill try to mock it up again tommorow for pics... but i might have to wait till i get some parts from the US and complete the install...

  16. ok lets switch this thread up a bit... we in theory know that this wont work well due to the amount of heat and air blockage... Now lets throw in the AC cooler... how would you fit that into the equation if removing it is not an option?? i was thinking of pairing the AC cooler and the radiator together on the bottom of the V-mount... with the cooler in front of the rad.

  18. exactly... shorter piping corect... but switching sides for a second... the heat will heat the air and decrease the efficency of the intercooler.. but... switching sides once more haha... with the room i will still have even with the intercooler add a vented hood, and dual electric fans and the increase in air temp could be compesated and the benifits of shorter piping could be reaped. remember also that on an SR the intake is on the opposite side of the exhaust and does not need the piping to be sent back to the exhaust side like the RB. so the shortness of the piping can be great. ill take better pics this weekend when the swap begans... if you look at in a geometric perspective you could remove the radiator and maybe sqeeze another SR in there length wise haha...
  19. hmm i thought those would have more of an impact on the car... yeah i would have to get the 17's and 5 lugs and 9J and 10J with about a 0 offset or better to really make them worth while... man that would get pricey i bet... i can find 7j or 7.5j in a 14,15 4lug watanabes all day long... oh well maybe ill price them just for shits and giggles... oh and if any body is interested i have a 900 somthing page catalog of all the 2007 parts available from all aftermarket manufactures i can get a MSRP price on just about anything... including wheels... and full motors..   21. yeah thats FREE MOTION TAIL, i was at ebisu when i met those guys for the first time... back when they werent driving ceffys... they were barbequeing and i was hella hungry haha.. they didnt hesatate to offer me a hot dog... seems they were more excited to me me then i was them.. i love the japanese... haha maybe ill put my application in now lol... how hard is that Laruel front-end to fit?? anybody know?
  22. what do i need to make my American bought radio pick up Japanese stations here in japan? ive seen the ones converting japanese domestic radios to pick up UK stations. but is there one for my US radio that i installed into my Japanese car?? i like to listen to the japanese stations sometimes and the US military has a station on the japanese channels that i would like to listen to also. well you get what i mean, just a shot in the dark, is there such a thing??
  23. also just to be sure check U-joints and mount bushings. and make sure everything is tightend. dont forget your LUGNUTS... yeah i know stupid but i have made the mistake of forgeting to retighten the lugnuts after a few miles and i thought it was my diff but the wheel was just falling off haha...
