  3. Hey Guys, Those of you in a C34 Stagea, towing cars or heavy stuff, could i trouble you for some pictures of your towbars and what theyve been rated at? Specifically from underneath the car. I want to see how they are mounted and where they are mounted to. Duncan, Atik & Dobo i would appreciate pics of yours as i need to be able to tow no more than a 1400kg car. Thanks

  5. The prick was seen driving it again Monday night and was chased by loyal import drivers and police were too slow to attend and catch him. I've seen his face and it's on CCTV at a petrol station and I have a witness who has seen himhim in person with my car and driven off with it. All on cctv. Trick is spring the car and police trapping him in time. But if it's seen anywhere parked please slash the tyres or cut the tyre valves off
  6. We have cctv at the house but unfortunately the recorder didn't work. It was actually stolen about 2:30am because someone took photos of it on Burwood hwy trying to drag him. And that was at about 2:42am outside Deakin university. I believe the bastards live close to that area. I've asked the petrol stations to keep an eye out and asked them to check their CCTV footage for the car but they are less than helpful. The police had the forensic team for the Celica and since my car is so unique it would be easy for people to spot it. If anyone does see it parked anywhere, I would been them to stab the tyres so it doesn't go anywhere and call the cops and me on 0412973245. My son doesn't have any particular conditions for the cops to try harder.
  7. Some effing ass hole stole my car. It was parked in Station Avenue, Ashwood and was heard driving off by neighbours at 3:30am last night. It is a white 1997 Nissan Stagea 260RS station wagon. Plates YQC 494 It is my family car and I desperately need it for my son. It had black wheels on the front and very dirty chrome wheels on the back. The thieves arrived and dumped a stolen burgundy Toyota Celica.

  9. Sorry to hijack but I'm wondering if anyone can confirm the ECU pinouts for 260rs S1 are the same as r33gtr or not. There doesn't seem to be a specific 260rs service manual anywhere. Is s2 260rs ecu different to series 1 ecu?
  10. There is a very good chance we can make it, my other hald and my little boy. My 260 might not look so good in the photos this cruise around, some nasty deep puddles took care of the lip on my front bar and some lady in the Woolies carpark has made a mess of my rear bar. On the plus side there is more air going through my intercooler now LOL

  12. So true, at this time of the year im sure it would be even harder. The only time i dont attend is when my car cant, although i doubt too many people would mind if i attended with the R33 anyway. They share the same engine LOL
  13. im interested in your comment about how the net and blind need to be combined as the net attaches to the blind. Ive got both and cannot for the life of me figure out how the bottom of the net attaches to the blind. Can you upload a picture of how this works? i seriously feel stupid i cant figure it out LOL
  14. Are the struts with springs? I've got coilovers on my rs260 and one has blown so i need a stock set to drive on while they get fixed. Do you have a picture you can post of the mesh grill and badge?
  15. It is a shame. Especially since im sure if a cruise was done prior to Christmas someone would come dressed as Santa too LOL As long as a couple of cruises are done during summer im a happy camper :-)
  16. You would need new headlights too as they are different shape to series 1 and bonnet will not fit over the s1 lights due to their slimmer shape. You'll needa new grill between headlights also. Not worth the money.

  18. Most of the parts like bonnet, fenders and other stuff are shared with the entire C34 range. The only non interchangeable specific to the 260rs are as you say the front bar and lip, side skirts and possibly rear bar and rear wing/spolier. Of course you can always use any other rear bumper and spoiler and skirts but the front bar is VERY hard to come by. If you have the original front bar most panel shops (if they can be f&*%d) can mold it up in fibreglass ofr you or even recreate it. Specialty body kit places are a better option as they will produce better quality and have more time to do it. Not going to be cheap but worth looking into.
  19. I thought of that since there was so much space underneath the fuse box but nothing unfortunately, only the boost solenoid. I thought someone may have changed the injectors but they are the standard low impedance GTR ones (checked them with a multi-meter). No blank plugs or anything, I've followed all the cables from the injectors back and they seem to tie in to the loom that runs along the firewall and then through it to the ECU. BUT..... After 3 days of seriously non stop searching google and SAU i finally found this http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/402139-rb26-injector-ballast-where-do-i-plug-it-in-on-rb26-loom/ and sure enough its located behind the passenger headlight under the airbox /pods up against the fender wall. As per the pictures. Seriously i have no idea why its so far away and also how they wired it up. It may actually be that massive grey plug sticking up away from near the FPR. I wonder what else is differently located. While we are on the topic of 260RS differences, one thing ive never found an answer to is whether the ECU pinout for R33 GTR and Stagea 260RS are identical. I have the Japanese Stagea manual for all series 1 Stags and the R33 Engine Manual for all R33 engines but I cant find anywhere a manual for the 260RS and it seems there is a consensus that the ecu may be a hybrid R33/34. Can anyone help on this?
  20. Yes thats where ive been looking and no silver box. On the R32 GTRs its mounted on the same bracket as the boost solenoid. On the R33 GTRs its as you mentioned above. On the 260RS No sign of it ever been there. The boost solenoid is actually wedged between the battery and the fuse/relay box on the 260rs. You can barely see it. Ive seen some pictures of stock 260rs's on the net and none show the resistor pack on the strut tower. I have heard that the resistor pack can be wired anywhere between the ECU and the injectors, is that right?? Anyway this is my engine bay.
  21. Or even just let me know where it's located. I'd hate to think I've been running without a resistor pack. I haven't fried any injectors yet.
  22. Hi All, This is for all 260RS owners out there. I understand that R33 Gtr have low impedence injectors and have a resistor pack mounted on the strut Tower. 260Rs have same running gear but engine bay has some subtle differences. Eg. Battery In particular I'd like to know where is the damn resistor pack in the stagea? I've looked everywhere. If people could put up a picture of their engine bay of they're still running low impedance injectors.
