  1. Yeah, there were 2 boxes - one for front, the other for back. They came separately and one of the boxes was open, but I think it is all good! Just prob a little havoc experienced in the crazy courier truck.
  2. Received my pads today! Thank you! Was kinda strange that they delivered the front and the back separately (an hour in between). I think the packet got opened during delivery. Ah wells, pads there. Thank you once again! Time to book car service...
  3. Skyline is supposed to run 100 Octane... Don't think the ethanol blend is anywhere near even 98.
  4. Ah, thank you. These cars drink money! hehe. Looks like I'll put this off for about 2 months.
  5. With my previoius fix? I just pressed button combination to manually eject or whatever I could find at G35 driver. After non-success for 10 min, it decided to spit it out. However, now it sounds like it has a mechanical issue. Wow... Just to install the JVC thing 6-700 bucks... Is it because it is single DIN? Would double DIN be cheaper? Or it is just the way it is with changing head units?

Imagine what it would sound like with Kreissieg exhaust on...
  7. There is one in the V35 section. If you can't find it, it surely is up on g35driver.com - that's where I got mine from.
  8. If you will fight it and need help, pm. Can't promise I'll have time, but you never know.
  9. When I first got mine and they were really rare in Aus some people thought it was the new Lexus or novices thought it was updated GTR.
  10. I like high pitched, anything that will get me closer to F1, hehe. I'll have to pick the rest of my exhaust really carefully to achieve that - only have the Trust rear section so far.
  11. CRD only got me the Trust rear section for 1.1k. Talk about a rip off...
  12. So when will there be a current affairs episode on this?
  13. Spot on also means avoiding legal action for negligence if there is a crash (unless stated in the terms of purchase that balancing is done for up to 120 km/h speeds). Any other lawyers want to comment?
  14. "you really shouldnt be doing 120 anyway and i would always say that to a customer when they complained of a noise or shaking at anything over 110... as there is no legal place to test these speeds, its not up to the workshop, if its correct to 110 then hes done his job, anything over and its your problem." Unless someone takes it to the track...
  15. I've got RDA's from the group buy and very happy!
  16. Hello, It is time for service and to source myself brake pads for my V35 Skyline 2003 non-Brembo. Does anyone know the part number for it? Also, if you know any part numbers for V35s, please post, so there can be a general thread that V35 drivers can refer to. Thank you.
  17. Bump on the above... Have to get service done soon. Thanks in advance
  18. Are these codes correct for the brake pads for 2003 V35 Coupe non-brembo: DP31636C front and DP31666C rear ?
  19. I see a black V35 of Epping Road often. (Sydney)
  20. See if this helps: http://g35driver.com/forums/audio-video-el...player-jam.html
  21. Yeah, been there once... However, there twice now... And I think the mechanism is stuffed, because it is producing a rather unhealthy sound compared to what I remember 2 years ago... This could be in the wrong thread, but has anyone experienced a loss of sound quality with installing an after-market head unit in a Bose fitted car? Why I am asking is in my previous car, AU Fairmont, after I replaced the head unit to JVC, the bass level dropped. Would I experience the same with another head unit here? The head unit I am looking at is this: http://www.oo.com.au/JVC_Car_Stereo_with_8...__P9851C448.cfm Somehow "Maximum power output: 4 x 50W" is telling me it won't work as well...
  22. Anyone can do it in a V35 Skyline? Workshop would be easiest, since it is not an installation like in normal cars. I am in Eastern Suburbs though.
  23. Just have been observing... My headlights have a problem too, but not sure if it's the one as discussed here. My headlights look as if there are stains on it (like from water evaporating or something). Is it the same problem as the headlights losing clarity discussed in forums above and by people above?
  24. For now, the Porsche is the way. Prob will be next car also (boxster, as others way more expensive), unless I decide to go for an updated V35. If discarding the budget, GT3 would be above R35 on my list, even though more expensive. When R35 comes to Aus, I'll rethink it. So far, the fact that I can't read jap and half of the features don't work on my screen turns me off.
