  1. Have a pic of the 4dr you bought? Gts4 r32 sedans are rare. I've got one too.
  2. confirmed + interested in prints (ok to pay on the day?)
  3. No idea, just heard it on the bus this morning, Thought I'd post it up, I assume it would start at 8am or so, as the morning sessions normally start then.
  4. Heard that 104.7 had a comp this morning for a skid and drift session on the wet skidpan tomorrow morning with Fifthgear. Don't think theres any spots, but I may go out for a look after I get my tyres fitted in the morning. Scotty and Nige are taking their cars from what I heard (Nige has the 32 skyline) Just thought I'd post this up if people wanted to spectate.
  5. Had a look at the tires have v4h8 on the sidewall, and apart from the ohtsu and Falken writing also have RS003-01 on the side. So I take it they are hard compound semis? pardon the noobyness of my post lol.
  6. Hopefully will be fun Will all the noobs go out together? because I can imagine I'm going to be S**t slow for half of the day, getting used to the track.
  7. I think Baconer had one, not sure if he still has, as he sold the car.
  8. Looks like theres 3 spots left
  9. Will have a look when I'm home but that Ohtsu name does seem to ring a bell. Will see what it has on the tyres, but most of the writing is in japanese, They are the Falken Semis at the top of Powerplays homepage. Didn't think Powerplay sold bad stuff, know they have a good rep, just was suprised at how hard they felt.
  10. Thanks Have them stashed in the garage atm, suppose that's as good a place as any. The damn things are hard enough atm anyway. Sought of wondering if thats why they were cheap anyway. Bought them from powerplay.
  11. Ok slicks/semis storage question, any guide on how to store them? Keep them out of direct sunlight so they don't go too soft? Anything else?
  12. Ok Unless I cant count looks like 7 people have said yes so far. Will give it a day or two before I decide to book in, looks like 29th of June. Also just to cover myself, need to tell you guys you will need to sign a disclaimer form, just incase something happens as usual, you will also either need to bring a helmet or use one there.
  13. Ok a dumb question for all those track experts out there, got my semi slicks today, they each have respective marks on them for LF LR RF RR, so I take it they are uni directional? and obviously the tyre shop will need to put the respective tyre on the respective rim?
  14. You can try but trust me I think after the 4th race you'll be pretty knackered. Checked the format on the phone. I think other wise, each 10min race is charged at 17$ so thats 68$ for 4 races compared to 54$ if we get 10 people. A 5 minute break between each race isn't too much anyway. Can have a look of doing it individually, but it is around 17$ for a 10 min race, or a bit more for a 15 minute race.
  15. I'd say checkout www.powerplayimports.com , bought 4 semi slicks from them for 125$ each. Don't plan on munching my Good year Eagles on a track day too, there too exy.
  16. Sought of wondering when this thing is going to start, might be an idea to meetup at Shell around 6:15-6:20, grab something to eat at maccas and get to the track around 8 ish. If everything goes well will need to change all 4 of my rims at the track when I get there. Just don't want to be rushing around to get that stuff done.
  17. Posted this in a new thread since I can't edit the old one. Ok Gave hume a call. I reckon probably the best time to Book is: 29th June Sunday or 6th July Sunday some time. Cheapest way to do it is to book the whole track out for an hour. Cost is 540$ So if we get 10 people it's 54$ each Maximum of 10 karts in one race. If we get more than 10 people wanting in, could probably work something out, but would probably need some like 16-20 people, and then we'd book it out for two hours. Format would be : 3 x 15 minute races or 4 x 10 minutes races. (plenty to tire you out lol). If people are in on this, please advise what days you can make it or not. If we get 8 or 10 will book this in. Booking the track exclusively for an hour is the cheapest, means only us are on it too. Hume also has a BBQ etc to use.
  18. I sought of figured that Neil, I did think it sounded weird . And thought it was BS, but thought I'd check. Wont be using them.
  19. Cool nanas, wont be getting it done there then, once liked this place, (wont name it) but definately won't be getting it done there. Thought it sounded a bit weird. Could see his argument but thought the wheel would be out of balance then.
  20. This one might be for mick, asked in the other thread, but anyway, semi slicks or slicks, should they be balanced for the track? Had one mob say they thought you shouldn't do it, due to a possible issue of the wheels weights flying off on the track? True or BS?
  21. Ok have my semis on order. Probably getting them stuck on the rims this saturday. Quick Question. Was told by one place that semi slicks or slicks shouldn't be balanced because of a potential hazard of the wheel weights coming off on the track. Anyone got an idea either way if this is the case? thx chris
  22. tell em the price son Nice 4 dr btw.
  23. Ok I have to replace my passenger side seatbelt. Ordered a klipan replacement, as no one seems to stock my stalk/belt. I have the 4 door r32 and by the looks of it I need to remove the front and rear passenger side sill trim, and probably the passenger seat (recaro). Anyone done this before and know any short cuts or advice, not afraid to do it, but don't really want to do it blind. Couldn't find anything on here.
  24. k thx for the info. Currently running 235's was after this info for some semis or slicks. Looks like I'll be giving powerplay a call tomorrow as well.
