  1. Hi All After some 8-9.5 inch wide rims to suit an r32, Probably the most the offset can be is high 30's. Happy to look at all rims. thx
  2. Dont think ive posted here, so pics of my 32 gts4
  3. attessa computer is the silver box on the underside of the parcel shelf, at least on my 4dr gts4. As far as I know it will only flash ecu error codes when the 4wd light is on, signifying an error. Theres a red led on the underside of it.
  4. Ok thanks for that info. So should the proper measurement for the offset be taken from the inside lip of the rim and not from the top of the lip? See attached pic.
  5. Hi all Just want to check if I've calculated this right. I am currently looking at some rims at a wrecker. The rears are 9.5 inches wide and the fronts are 8.5 inches wide. Now the rear measure 17cm from the hub of the rim to the rear of the rim. So I'm assuming to get the offset of this rim it would be 2.54 * 9.5 = 24.13 24.13/2 = 12.06 17 -12.06 = 49mm offset? The fronts measure 15.5cm from the hub of the rim to the rear of the rim so the offset would be: 2.54 * 8.5 = 21.59 21.59/2 = 10.80 15.5 - 10.80 = 47mm offset? I'm attaching some pics, the only reason im asking is I havent heard of any wheels with such a deep offset so I'm just wondering if I am doing it wrong. Can someone confirm my calculations? Or should the measurement be taken from a bit lower down on the rim? As I'm getting the measurement from the extreme lip of the rim. I was told that these rims came off a skyline and should fit all of them, but with these offsets I don't think they'd fit? As mine is a 32. pics anyone able to identify these stern rims as well? I have very similar ones at the moment but mine don't seem to be two piece like these seem to be.
  6. From what I remember yes, it is a few months old. I didn't do it myself, but will make a few changes to it, due to the points raised here.
  7. Ok this is going ahead . looks like it will be 9 to 10 people. Which will give us all a good amount of time on the skidpan. Will need to spend the weekend after cleaning the car for marques in the park lol.
  8. I'll give em a call next week
  9. If no one else on sau puts their hand up in the next day or two I don't see why not. Doesn't look like many other people are interested at this stage.
  10. Anyone heading out tonight?
  11. Just uploaded the skyline book, if someone wants to have a look over it and point out anything wrong with it or what needs to be added. That'd be great. Thanks to cef11e for organising it. skyline_book_rev.doc
  12. Ok 8 people have paid or made arrangements to pay. Ideally we need one more person. We're nearly there which is good.
  13. Thanks for the link, I posted there. Probably best to contact bruce if NS hasn't been there before as a group. So maybe he can organise a spot for everyone as a group before hand. I think he did say ther would be a nissan/datsun area. We may be all put there so to speak.
  14. Spotted a silver r33 in the centrelink TOP car park aroun 1:15pm this afternoon, with a skylinesaustralia sticker on the back Anyone on here?
  15. If we want to I could ask but bruce basically said we couldnt since they have a bbq as there were already food vendors there, sounds like we would have to pay for the privilidge.
  16. Just had a quick chat to Bruce about this. Looks like we will probably be close to where we were last year. With the celicas and mr2's but instead of being in the horshoe area be closer to the mustangs. The Federal tent with signage is ok. Have been told you cannot sell food to the public as there are already food vendors there, if we want we can setup a BBQ but can only sell the food to sau people etc. Need to make sure the gas bottle if there is one is legal, if not we may end up getting fined by the ACT park rangers. Bruce will be doing up a map a week or so before the event to finalise the areas. Will send an email to Bruce with details of how many are attending, progressively.
  17. I'd be interested in finding out some more info about this as well. If you can post or pm me some stuff, thx.
  18. I will have a talk again with the organisers to see if we can get a pre arranged spot, if 26 or 27 people do show up. Apart from that does anyone else have any ideas on a club display, apart from the skyline history print outs that is. Nothing too organised I suppose.
  19. Ah ok might try that. thought it would be a bit strange ringing fulcrum about it, thought they'd palm me off to the agent, since I can only describe it as a suspension creak over bumps on the left rear.
  20. Thanks for the info, the reason I was asking is I have TEIN HA / HR suspension in the car. Still up in the air about who to go to now lol Would think Capital might know more since teyre the agents.
  21. Hi everyone, just wondering does anyone know if there are any tein agents in canberra apart from Capital steering and suspension? My car has developed a suspension noise in the left rear and would like to take it to a tein specialist. Just not neccesarily take it all the way into fyshwick.
  22. oops just noticed this is in the QLD section not the photography section ah well.
  23. Spotted a red r33 S1 2 door parked opposite the bmx track on copland drive in melba with a cardboard for sale sign on it.
  24. Good to see the interest. Have a nice document on skyline history which I'll bring along, done by a sauer. Anymore info on the money still needed for the banner?
  25. No probs. At this stage will probably want to keep it at 10 people as it will be morning only. So still have at least one spot left, and need to firm up one or two people, and the people who havent payed. So send me a pm when you decide.
