  2. Ok I need to reapply the black paint covering on my r32 non projector headlights, on the top of the headlight. Just wondering what primer or treatment should I use before I spray the black on it? Should I use etch primer? Or some kind of glass primer or plastic primer? thx.

  14. I don't know the offsets for 33's, so I can't tell, but they are they are all 9 inches wide, and should have a + 18 offset.

  16. Ok discussed a few things. Theres some interested in us having a BBQ. If someone can bring some please put your hand up. I'm happy to buy some sausages etc. At this stage it would just be to keep ourselves fed. Although I can ask if we can get a permit. I will be talking with Bullet32 re the federal tent. We will be sending final numbers to Bruce around the 11th, to secure a spot relative to how many are attending, So please post if you can before then if you can't make it etc, or know someone else who is coming along. Jon (aa2089) will be making arrangements to pick up the SAU NSW Banner. Apart from that All I can think of is we need a table or two, to put some stuff on. I'll be talking with Bruce to determine when one of us first needs to be there in the morning to secure our spot.
  17. I'd buy the R35 gtr if those were my only choice, but would rather buy a r34 gtr and spend the money I saved on mods.
  18. Sounds like you need a background in that area or some science degree though doesn't it? I may be interested in applying, but I need documentation showing I can swim, because I don't have that at the moment lol
  19. Mine looks horrible next to that. But can't really do anything until after the skidpan day. Because that will just make the engine look horrible. Ah well. Any tips for us detailing noobs mick?
  20. I'll post up what we discuss. If anyone shows lol.
  21. Well that rules that out I need the drivers side indicator as well lol, ah well.
  22. Ah ok, but I thought with eventys like dyno days etc, if anything went wrong on the dyno. Any public damage (not to the car) would be covered by the shops pl insurance. If I understand what your saying, basically any events that we decided to hold in nsw, ie queanbeyan or on the south coast, would have to be approved by sau nsw to have pl coverage? I thought the main issue for us with pl insurance would be if we organised a public event. ie show and shine, or something like that. As long as we keep cruises unofficial, I think cruises wouldn't be an issue would they? Since we are just a bunch of people going for a cruise and not holding an official event? I might still be reading it wrong but that's what I thought. Now that my car is sorted, would not mind taking part in the toyota vs nissan dyno day.
  23. I should be at the museum tonight, even if it's raining. Just thought might want to run through the plan of events for Marques in the park. Who does what etc. Will be asking the organisers if one of us needs to be there early to setup, or if they will have the area reserved so we don't need to worry about that.
  24. Spotted 3 grey r32 gtrs around Phillip BP servo around 4pm to 4:10pm. Not sure if they were the same car, one was parked and the other two I saw driving around in those 10 minutes.
  25. Thats fair enough, I take it the main impact to us would be if we organised our own show and shine day, or held a public event etc, we wouldn't have public insurance if it's in the ACT. If the event was held in NSW, ie queanbeyan, and was authorised by the SAU NSW exec etc, we would be covered under the club, I take it we would have to be NSW members though. Events like Marquees in the park and Shannons wheels expo have their own public liability insurance. Appreciate you investigating this Jon and trying your best. thanks chris So looks like all us lackeys who haventy joined need to join SAU NSW
