Just had my gearbox oil changed and my box is still vibrating on load and sometimes on idle. Also appears the main bearing is on its way out. Just wondering what the vibration may be. Have a brass button clutch in it. 4th to 5th is crunchy as well.

It looks like quite an old pivot turbo timer. Electrician looked at it free of charge, basically stated, the turbo timers accepting inputs from the car, but it is not outputting any signal. Basically I have the timer lit up on the turbo timer when the cars running, when I turn the car off it just shuts down. Doesn't keep the car running. At the moment I'm not in a hurry to replace it, had to many bills, and may not even put one back in.

Been meaning to do this for a while, but now isn't exactly a good time for me, I'm a bit poor this month.

I know this thread is old but I thought I'd post here since it's a good thread. Just had the car service, has a remote oil filter. Now they ended up putting about 5 and a bit litres of oil into the engine. Brought then a 4ltr and 2ltr bottle of Motul Chronos 300v. Now I thought the maximum to fill would be 4.5, but they basically said there should not be an issue with overfilling it with oil due to the extra lines running to the remote oil filter and oil cooler. Sounds fair enough, just wondering if it's true. Just most of the other times, Just used a normall 5ltr bottle or 4.5 litre bottle of oil.

While I don't mind the Snowy mountains route, I do like the braidwood route a bit better, do they have a map on that site for that? I think I'd need to fill up at least once if I went the snowy's route.

Well im scratching my head now thinking what gearbox oil I should use. GTS4 r32 gearbox. Has some noise coming from it when driving, but I was told when I bought the car, that it had an aftermarket gearset in it as well. So not quite sure whether to use redline or not. Main issue is it crunches on a quick change from 4th to 5th.

They can handle quite well. I've got a 4dr gts4. Back seat room is pathetic, recaros don't help though. It has various supension mods, coilovers etc. Handles very well and everyone who's driven it comments on that too. So they can be setup quite well.

well its pelting down here atm, So probably won't go to tuggers in this weather if it holds up.

Just had my old one fail. Was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a good one? My old one was a pivot turbo timer. Spotted a r33 coupe I tailed for a while on the park way around 4:10pm, and a white r33 gtr in belco a bit later, gave a wave got a wave.

No probs, the only reason I really noticed your car was because of the number plate and there were no other red cars around. Fair distance between north bound and south bound traffic on that road anyway.

Spotted Bluprint heading southbound on Adelaide avenue this arvo, I was heading north bound.
