I was told when I changed the rego over to ACT, to take it to dickson, as the rb25 motor meant it had too many mods. So maybe that's why he has to go to dickson. since it sounds like it was unregistered for a time.

Go to the website link at the start of the thread, click on contact us. give him a call, just say your going to be doing the sau day on the 11th and have some questions. He might be busy at the moment, so just ask if he is ok to talk when you ring.
-
As far as I know derek doesn't allow it, best to talk to him.

I will be PMing my bank details to everyone over the next day or two. With this number of people it is fine to go ahead, if more show interest will look at expanding the session, but at this stage will be staying to 4 hours in the morning. Most likely people will get 3 runs of 15 minutes each at least, and perhaps a 4th short run. Happy to try some different things on the day if people show interest. But at the moment it will consist of 2 cars being on the track at once, normally 1 is on end the other on the other. The skidpan is big enough to handle 2 cars at a time. If people have any other ideas or suggestions, happy to hear them.

Wrecking R32gts-t 4 Door
CeJay replied to DJRIFT's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I'm after the drivers side A pillar plastic cover, goes from the dash to the roof covering. -
Is the correction ratio set near 8% due to the temperature? or the height of Canberra itself? ie around 500-600 metres above sea level?

Running a detailing day or clinic might help us in getting the money for the banner if everyone pitches in a bit. -

So are the skidpan times in the thread? or not up yet?
-
Just researching this problem, as my car seems to have a similar issue. Same as in first post. Have had the car for 12 months, noise has not gotten any worse, have taken the car to skidpan days and took it to texikhana, noise is still not worse. Is this something I can leave until I get the clutch replaced? Or should I have a look into it? As car has been fine to drive, apart from 5th crunching if I change too quickly into it from 4th.
-
Sorry for digging this thread up. I've had this sound in my gbox clutch for over a year. Basically a whiney noise in idle when clutch is off. So this is the clutch release bearing on its way out? Noise is also there when accelerating in gear, but not when coasting. Have had the car like this for over a year and the car still drives fine. Had the pedal box snap, but was rewelded on correctly. Just wondering what can happen when the clutch release bearing fails? As I've had the car for 20000kms and it hasn't been an issue until I found this out. Car already has a brass button clutch in it.

[sa] 4door 32 Parts, Wheels Ceffy Guard
CeJay replied to means13's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Sent you a pm on the indicator, is it still for sale. -
The small wet skidpan at sutton is what will be used. Just a quick note, the format normally consists of 3 or 4 runs on the skidpan of 15 minutes each, 2 cars on the skidpan at a time.
-
Yeah have to say Turismo almost drove the wheels off that thing lol a lot better than I am.

Will probably at this stage open payments on the first of october and close it around the 11th, to ensure numbers. Will be having one session at this stage, if numbers allow, may extend the session to six hours. Also by the way who would be interested in doing some timed course stuff on the skidpan like what we did in Texikhana? I had a ball doing that stuff as well. Just an idea
